06/05/2026: Recommended by my cousin, I went for dinner with the kids. A very quaint place. Excellent meat and pizza, good service, generous portions, and fair prices. We spent time chatting with the owner (I think), who was very kind and helpful. I went two nights in a row (why change if you're happy with it) and in the end, the real question is: would I go back? Absolutely.

27/04/2026: We were welcomed even though the place was very full with great courtesy, we ordered some bruschetta that was nothing short of exquisite and not to mention the pizza, truly excellent in everything from the dough to the toppings. Characteristic Sicilian-style atmosphere, I was truly satisfied, I will return again.

07/05/2026: Hello, we came by on our scooter from Palermo. The restaurant was very full, but we still managed to get a table. We received very friendly service. We ordered the butterfly cutlet with a mixed salad. It was very good and tasted really meaty. The price was reasonable, and we would gladly recommend it.

01/11/2025: Well, not this!!! The food is disgusting, the service is completely out of order. We waited 45 minutes for the food and it was really hard to tell what they brought. If they gave this to an Italian, he would probably throw it at them and kill them, but a tourist can handle it. In the end, they tried to charge us extra for water and despite the fact that we returned 4 dishes almost in full, they charged us a tip of 10 euros. You should definitely avoid this place.

26/12/2025: I spent Christmas in this magnificent hotel, where peace, silence, and courtesy reign supreme. The staff is nothing short of exceptional. A special thanks to Ezio for "fixing" my breakfast, Serena, and to Matteo, the seasoned waiter! But also to everyone else, good people dedicated to their work who make kindness and a smile an art. And that's usually not easy with guests. The setting is beautiful, the Christmas decorations original. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. The dishes are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The portions are also not bad. In short, you leave the table feeling full but not overly so. So, not feeling heavy. My compliments also go to the chef, of course, for that excellent pumpkin cream and that rice with artichoke cream, sublime, for which almost everyone in the dining room asked for seconds. We did the couples spa treatment. It's a shame we didn't think of massages sooner; we would have loved to have them. The girls there were also very friendly, and for the 90 minutes there were no crowds, just a few couples. The biscuits were also excellent. In short, they were two beautiful days. We spent them peacefully and quietly. Enjoyed them until the very last moment. If you want to enjoy the beauty of Catania, choose Hotel Itria and you won't regret it. Thank you

10/06/2026: Without a menu (i.e. no prices anywhere) he brought us a salad and an appetizer plate with some cold cuts and cheeses plus a glass of wine and we paid 50€ which is at least unacceptable. Everything was quite tasty but not enough to justify their price.

26/04/2026: The food was delicious. We had Margherita pizza, and it was one of the best we've ever had. The restaurant didn't look particularly appealing from the outside, but the interior was much nicer. The staff was friendly and attentive.

13/12/2025: It was my first time here, and I must say I'll gladly return... you pay little and get a lot... I ate very well, from the rustic appetizers to the first and second courses, right down to dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, and the place was rustic yet welcoming.

24/11/2025: Alfio, the wonderful guide at the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli, recommended this restaurant for our lunch. We were delighted by the antipasto that kept arriving with so many dishes. Then our pasta which was tasty. A great view towards the sea from the windows. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

02/06/2026: A welcoming place, the staff are always kind and helpful. Hot food is always fresh and good quality, even until the evening, just before closing time. The food is delicious and still fragrant. The desserts are equally as delicious; if you're invited and want to bring some pastries, or want to give a cake to your loved ones, you can't go wrong.
