Canni & Pisci-Meat & Fish In Catania

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had dinner here last night and was truly satisfied. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and with flavors that clearly demonstrated high quality. Each course was a pleasant surprise, definitely above average. The value for money is also excellent: fair prices for what you get. The location is simply stunning, with attention to detail and the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening. A restaurant I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves good fish and is looking for a beautiful place to eat well.

I highly recommend the horse meatballs. They sound so-so, but they taste delicious. Definitely try them. They're the best in Catania.

Four of us had a delicious meal in Ristorante Canni & Pisci this evening. Two had Secondi (second courses - €18 each) and two of us had a fixed menu for €30 and a litre of local wine was €12. For the fixed menu we had for starters a selection of raw fish, a couple of lovely vegetable dishes, a plate of mixed grilled seafood and other mixed starters such as arancini and sesame balls. We almost struggled to finish it all between the four of us! And then we had a chefs selection of two pastas by which time we were getting very full. Rather than a couple of desserts the waiter kindly brought us four lemon sorbets. To be honest - two mains and two fixed menus was more than enough for four people. The waiter we had was fantastic. Very efficient, clearing plates away quickly, quietly and without fuss and the garden atmosphere at the back had a delightful backdrop of ancient buildings. A very unexpected and wonderful meal from a very understated front door. Would definitely recommend if you like all types of fish.

The ingredients are of excellent quality, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I definitely recommend this place in Catania. Among all the other greasy cuisines out there, this place is pure heaven. Plus, it's a very stylish place :) Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos of the food, but it was wow!
