The fish appetizer was top-notch. We had a large table of my father's work friends. We ordered a variety of items, but the service was impeccable, the food was good, and the location was beautiful. I recommend this place to everyone.

Aptly located, rustic, old stone-milled oil mill, worth a visit. Fresh fish menu, from appetizer to main course. Meat menu with the option of a month-aged carnec (beef), and more. I've never had a better lunch in a restaurant. Friendly pricing. I recommend it with a walking tour of the surrounding area to see the town's splendid baroque architecture.

A Putia dell'Ostello

21/04/2026: Delicious food in a nice restaurant right in the heart of Catania. A welcome respite from the crowded streets full of tourists and local vendors selling jewelry and trinkets. The service was very friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable. We had the antipasti (bruschetta with beetroot, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomato) and Pasta Di Norma – I don't think any comment is necessary (the last photo describes how delicious it was). 😀
19/04/2026: Excellent food, a very atmospheric place with loud music and a lively atmosphere. I recommend visiting the underground caves.
