12/08/2024: Very good pizza, there is always confusion because the food is good. The service from the guys who are very fast is also excellent. I recommend booking a few days in advance. The only flaw is the parking, but it doesn't depend on the pizzeria. Super recommended

11/08/2024: Antichi Proverbi in Nicolosi is a restaurant that offers a very characteristic and traditional atmosphere, as the name itself suggests. The restaurant is carefully furnished, recalling Sicilian culture through signs with proverbs, carts and other typical elements of the region, creating a welcoming and evocative environment. During the summer period, finding parking nearby can be particularly difficult, so it is advisable to take this aspect into account when planning a visit. As for the pizza, it is served with high sides, a style that is now common but which may not be appreciated by everyone. However, the cooking of the pizza was satisfactory. One negative to highlight is the lack of gluten-free options. A point in favor of the restaurant is undoubtedly the staff: kind, polite and welcoming, they help make the experience in the restaurant even more pleasant. In summary, evaluating the various aspects, I would give a 7 to the pizza and an 8 to the place for its atmosphere and decor. A place that might be worth trying, especially for those who appreciate a traditional Sicilian environment and friendly service.

21/08/2024: Per noi è stata una conferma. Siamo ritornati dopo alcuni mesi e ancora una volta il titolare ci ha deliziati con i suoi piatti squisiti e freschi. Persona gentile, educata che lavora con passione e soprattutto ispira i suoi dipendenti a fare altrettanto. Sicuramente da provare.

21/08/2024: Siamo venuti qua senza sapere niente ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Personale particolarmente gentile e super disponibile, luogo molto carino e accogliente (vicoletto abbellito con lucide, piante ecc) e servizio velocissimo.

08/07/2024: Pleasantly welcomed with great kindness, we were amazed by their cuisine. The fish is very fresh and expertly cooked. I haven't eaten like this in years. We will return as soon as possible I highly recommend it. It just needs a freshening up of the look. But my belly has become a hut!!

Fresco, gustoso, equilibrato, (siamo stati lì con gli ospiti stranieri e abbiamo fatto una bella figura), servizio impeccabile, un grazie speciale alla cameriera gentilissima con i capelli mesh 👏. Piatti da leccarsi i baffi, unico posto dove mangiamo la pizza con tutti i bordi perché è fantastica! Torneremo tante altre volte perché sappiamo che non delude mai!! Grazie❤❤❤

27/07/2024: IN-CROY-ABLE !!!!! Excellent… personnel aux petits soins… vraiment RIEN à redire… Pizza, pâtes, desserts, boissons 🥰 N’hésitez plus : en famille ou entre amis vous allez vous régaler ! Laissez vous tenter par les desserts du jour, surtout s’ils sont glacés 😉 Les serveurs sont aux petits soins (faites moi plaisir, laissez des pourboires quand ils le méritent)

03/09/2024: Nice, stylish and clean cafe with very good professional service. I had the best arancini in this place. And I just regret I didn't eat them more. I had sweet pistacio arancina and sour pistacio arancina and they were delicious. I can't wait to come back one day. UPDATE We came back after one year and I can say arancini at this place are the most delicious I had in all Sicily.

25/08/2024: Una bella scoperta! Per caso ci sediamo in questo ristorante, subito veniamo accolti benissimo da Simone, proprietario molto simpatico e gentile. Ti fa sentire subito a casa. La cucina è ottima. Ci siamo rilassati e goduti il pranzo, e chiacchierato piacevolmente con lui, un ragazzo molto attento ai rapporti umani, cosa che manca purtroppo oggi e che ci ha fatto piacere trovare nel suo locale. Grazie di tutto☺️ sedetevi e godetevi il pranzo ad Acicastello senza fretta!

22/08/2024: We had lunch here on Saturday and it was excellent. My daughter and I had the clam pasta which was delicious.. The service was friendly and nothing too much trouble. The prices were reasonable too.

04/07/2024: Very nice service and mostly very good pizza. The portions are quite large and they were very accommodating about giving us boxes to take home pizza. The choices of flavors are very interesting. We especially enjoyed the tre formaggio pizza (surprisingly great since it’s just 3 cheeses). The signature mundibeddo pizza was very good too. One of us found our pizza not as good, a bit too hard to cut.

12/07/2024: Il locale si trova in una viuzza carina nella parte alta di Castiglione. Alcuni tavoli all'esterno ti fanno vivere il borgo nella sua tranquillità. Nel menù ci sono una dozzina di pizze, alcuni antipasti e qualche sera sono disponibili anche alcuni primi piatti. Le pizze sono quasi tutte semplici ma molto ben fatte: croccanti ai bordi e ben farcite. Il titolare è cortese e disponibile e il servizio è mediante veloce. Il costo è buono: la pizza di casa costa 8 euro
