26/05/2025: Very inviting as you walk by, located on a quiet street and with cool music. Unfortunately, the music stays the same until it gets on your nerves. The food was very good, but unfortunately, much more than we actually wanted and ordered. The price/performance ratio was okay, though.

18/05/2025: My partner and I went to this place on Friday at around 8pm and found a place without any difficulty. The place is young and full of energy! The staff is courteous and helpful. The menu is rich and interesting. There are several typical and tasty products served in the Spanish tapas formula. We had an aperitif ordering seasoned olives, a potato stuffed with bacon and mayonnaise and a bruschettona with porchetta and stracciatella! Taste, quality and top welcome! The waitress with dark and wavy hair is an added value to the place!

09/05/2025: Locale molto noto e gettonato in zona mercato. Qui puoi comprare formaggi, salumi, prodotti alimentari in genere e tanto vino. C’è però anche una vastissima zona gastronomia dove trovi cibo già cotto anche questo per asporto o, se vuoi, da consumare nei tavoli in saletta o in quelli all’aperto lungo la via. Le specialità proposte nella vetrina gastronomica sono attraenti ma se vuoi mangiare sul posto, essendo tutto venduto a porzione o a peso, hai difficoltà a fare degli assaggi misti. Io riesco ad ottenere un piatto ‘personalizzato’ con una polpetta di carne di cavallo accompagnata da insalata mista (ottima), e un carciofo (poco mangiabile essendo prevalentemente il fuori e non il ‘cuore’). Con un calice di vino rosso spendo quasi 20 euro. A mio avviso questo locale è sopravvalutato soprattutto in considerazione dei prezzi rapportati alle porzioni/quantità. Non ci tornerei.

13/05/2025: Nous avons visité l’Italie du Sud sur une période de trois semaines et notre repas à la Trattoria U Fucularu de Catane fut de loin le meilleur du voyage. Un repas typique de Catania qui combinait fraîcheur, goût et arômes de la région et la créativité du la Cheffe Alessia!! Semplicemente delizioso!!!

24/03/2025: We stopped by here on our arrival day from Taormina to Catania and were drawn in by our growling stomach and the good reviews. We were greeted very friendly and attentively and decided on two paninis at the table outside. Then we came into the shop and saw more dishes like pasta on a large chalk board. So we became curious again and the friendly chef asked us if we wanted to try pasta. He recommended a delicious dish that we definitely have to try. Then we decided on a pasta dish and a panini. The pasta was kindly divided between two plates and the panini was also cut in half. So perfect for sharing. Both tasted absolutely brilliant. Would definitely come here again. Prices really cheap and fair.

18/05/2025: I was there last night with friends. I liked the courtesy of the staff, I ate an excellent pizza and ended with a Fedora cake that was a show. I will definitely go back

11/05/2025: Unfortunately, some bitter words. Typical tourist cuisine: edible. For starters, they put a bottle of wine on the table to suggest tourists order it. After the pizza they suggest the appetizer. The pizza is beautiful visually, but it doesn't taste good. The pizza dough and toppings separate. For the first time in Italy I threw pizza in the garbage...

19/05/2025: What can I say about this restaurant. We have never eaten there for the simple reason that they never answered the phone to make a reservation. Many times the phone rang in vain....other times it was unreachable....other times they closed it on purpose....and other times it was even turned off. I can understand that you will always be full, but at least you should have the education and above all the decency to answer or leave an alternative number to call. Terrible.

21/05/2025: This place is a golden gem in a city like Catania where unfortunately very few places still offer vegan options. It's all delicious! The arancini are fresh, tasty, crunchy, all made on the spot, all made to order! As a big lover of sweets, I had practically resigned myself to the idea of ​​finding a place that offered vegan desserts, and in fact it's still very rare... at Mr Arancino there are tons of them! I couldn't believe it! In addition to the very rich menu and the delicious food, the staff is really super kind and super helpful. This place has basically become my paradise. And all at a really low price for the goodness and quality of the products. It's a pleasure to eat here! I love Mr Arancino!
