Place to be, delicious food and drinks at a fair price

The most atmospheric pub in Catania, lots of locals, very good drinks and appetizers. We returned a few times during our stay

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is very friendly, speaks good English and the food and vine and vermut is very good, service is fast and they recommend good things. I definitely recommend it. I will probably come back if time allows it.

Interesting variant of Catania street food, historic center full of places. From lard to cauliflower from wine to vermout…. Have fun and good drinks!

Great drinks and great atmosphere.

Lage: Parallel zur Via Entea, oberhalb der Stesicoro, also ein paar mehr Schritte vom Dom entfernt, ein einer schmalen Gasse Ambiente: draußen Bestuhlung mit einem Sammelsurium an Tischen und Stühlen, innen ähnlich schräg - alles sehr zusammengewürfelt und sympathisch, lockere und ziemliche shabby bzw Sperrmüll-Ausstattung Essen: eine Speisekarte, die schon anstrengend ist. Hat einem dann mal jemand erklärt, was es so gibt, dann ist es gut zu verstehen: überbackene geröstete Brote (geteilt in 2) halbe Kartoffeln gefüllt und überbacken, Suppen bzw. Eintöpfe - und das Beste: den ganzen Tag über - keine Schließung der Küche; viele unterschiedliche Kleinigkeiten, wunderbar zum Teilen und dann natürlich auch zum satt werden. Service: das Personal lief drinnen wie draußen in Winterkleidung (teilweise mit Pudelmütze) rum - ... fand ich witzig, aber es ist auch drinnen nicht geheizt. ALLE superfreundlich, man hat das Gefühl, es handelt sich ausnahmslos um Studenten - vom Alter, der Optik und dem ganzen Benehmen. Bestellung wird am Tisch aufgenommen, irgendwann kommt dann alles auf einmal, oft nur auf einem Blatt Papier. Dann zahlt man an der Kasse und der Student ;-) dort, weiß genau, was man hatte. Sehr nett. Preis-Leisung: nicht billig, aber preiswertes und gutes Essen (SLOW FOOD !!) Dienstags Spritz-time 3,50 Euro ... allerdings deutlich mehr Eiswürfel als Spritz im Glas - jedes Glas Wein 5 Euro. Kartoffeln und Brote so zwischen 2,50-5 Euro Empfehlung: definitiv

Patate allo speck strepitose, tagliere buono e locale grazioso e pieno di vita. È meglio prenotare il tavolo. Vi consiglio vivamente di provarlo.
