I returned after 8 years precisely because I had such a wonderful memory of this place. I was happy to return and discover that it's still that place, if not something more. In addition to the attentive and kind service, there is attention to detail and research in the cuisine. The food is exquisite 😋.

In the beating heart of beautiful Catania, Buatta is a welcoming and familiar place.
The staff is extremely friendly, the beers are fresh and delicious, and the food is refined, well-served, and delicious.

Food was great and gives a different perspective of Catania, tried what makes them different and it was delicious, staff didn't look bothered to serve anyone and took ages and I mean ages to serve or come see, had to sit ourselves down and go inside to track a staff member down (feeling embarrassed doing so), his reply "take a seat I will come".

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and everything tasted amazing. The waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and helped us immediately with anything we needed. Our food arrived very quickly, and all of our special requests were taken into account without any issues.
The restaurant was very clean and well maintained.
The prices are very fair, and the value for money is excellent. You can really tell that they care about both great service and high-quality food. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is very good, the staff is very friendly also. It is a bit more pricey that other options, but that is also because the dishes have a twist to them and are not “traditional”.
