11/09/2025: A place in the center of Acireale. The aperitif is excellent, a mix of focaccia, cured meats, and other delicacies. I think it's their absolute highlight. Excellent value.

22/06/2025: A very fun and lively atmosphere with owner coming up to talk to us a few times in the evening. The wine he recommended was a local Etna one and was exactly what we wanted. Make sure to visit it if you get a chance! And ask for a wine recommendation.

01/09/2025: I walked in, and I was surprised; I hadn't expected such a gem at 11 p.m., while walking a friend's dog. The smell of meat called to me. I instinctively knew it: he had magic, unspoken, unseen. But as a colleague, I knew his hands could follow that passion within him. I chose the bread, morbidone, and began to see the best combinations, below left, something that would ignite my gustatory pupils... so many countries, but this meat almost bloody. I sat outside, counted the seconds of the meat as I asked, stood up, and from experience, it was ready, just in the time I asked for. The caramelized onion cooked with vinegar, but with a particular, as if combined with the apple meat, gave off a slight sting. The blood is there as it darkens thanks to the light. The cheddar and the bacon go hand in hand... A real blast if you want some freestyle experience and precision... Thank you, maestro. The chips are also cooked perfectly for takeout, and they arrive warm but crispy at home after a walk with my little friend.

06/08/2025: Truly an excellent experience! The burgers were simply delicious. You could taste the quality in every bite! The service was super fast and super friendly, the staff always smiling and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere is also truly welcoming, well-kept, and pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

07/10/2025: I've had lunch or dinner here several times during my travels to Catania. The menu is overwhelming, offering a wide variety of tempting dishes. I've tried several and have always been very satisfied. The atmosphere is quiet, with the option of dining outside. Service is quick and very friendly. Prices are good, and there's a wide selection of wine by the glass. The Pasta alla Norma is exceptional, the best I've had in Catania among various restaurants. The desserts are delicious and well-made.

05/10/2025: Dinner with friends who enjoyed it, unlike me. I found a hair in a croquette, the pizza was rubbery and burnt, the cheesecake in the center was still frozen, the waiters??? NO... the one who took the order didn't ATTENTION to an allergy to a food that we found in the dish ordered and didn't even apologize. The one who brought the dishes... didn't even know what dishes were... in short, poorly prepared, but kind on the other hand. IN CONCLUSION... I DON'T THINK OF RETURNING... also because the person at the entrance wasn't capable of being kind but VERY DELEGATED...

04/10/2025: We wanted to try a place on Via Umberto, and we chose this one because it looked really nice. The lady at the cash register was a bit strange—it almost seemed like everyone owed her something, and she spoke in a peculiar way. The waiters, on the other hand, were very kind and polite. The place inside is really cute, nothing to complain about. The food was delicious, both the pizza and the main courses: really, kudos!

01/10/2025: A truly positive experience. A very cute place with a spectacular wine selection. And most importantly, it wasn't touristy!!! Excellent, plentiful food at very fair prices. The raw ham and appetizer selection were excellent. The owner and staff were kind and helpful, even joking around with our 6-year-old daughter. What can I say? See you next time in Catania!

16/09/2025: We chose La Fucina di Vulcano as our wedding venue, enchanted first and foremost by the view of Mount Etna, its pure and majestic beauty, but also by the friendly, warm, and professional approach of the owner, Irene, and her young and competent team. The venue is truly beautiful, elegant, and minimalist, recognizing that creating something classy requires a light touch and letting nature do its thing. The cuisine is amazing; we requested a vegetarian menu and were offered rich, thoughtful, and balanced dishes—in short, not the usual frittatas, grilled vegetables, and potatoes that often appear on vegetarian menus at events. They were also very attentive to the allergies and intolerances of the guests we reported. The evening after the wedding, my wife and I slept in one of La Fucina's rooms. Consistent with the entire style, it was understated, elegant, and clean. Many compliments to Irene for what she has created and to the people who work with her, always available, kind, and thoughtful. I felt at home and I don't know what better I could say.

14/09/2025: On Saturday, I had a wonderful experience at my son and his wonderful partner's wedding in a captivating setting, both for the location, the spectacular view of Mount Etna, and above all for the kindness and professionalism of the staff, led by young hosts. P.S. The food is amazing!

15/09/2025: I'm sorry. I can't fully agree with the positive reviews I've read. It had been highly recommended to me. Frankly, I was impressed by the truly remarkable counter. I purchased both sweet and savory items, trying a wide variety. In my humble opinion, what I found was a pastry shop worthy of its reputation, well-stocked and tasty. Unfortunately, I can't speak highly of the deli food; it was truly subpar. Only the spring onion was worth it; as for the rest, while I appreciated the abundance of ingredients, I couldn't even finish eating the rest. I say this in all sincerity, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but honestly... Unfortunately, another very negative point is the cleanliness of the bathroom, which is unbearable. The service was average.
