24/07/2025: The food was average, portions were small, and the presentation could be improved. When it came time to pay the bill, they had mixed up the bill with that of another table, and they threatened to overcharge us 8 euros if we hadn't checked.

08/07/2025: The oldest bar in the renowned ancient city of Syracuse. The Viola bar is like a heritage monument, and its layout is in keeping with its setting. The staff is very professional, and the outdoor veranda is beautiful and quaint.

16/07/2025: Family dinner after an exhausting day spent walking through archaeological sites and the narrow streets of Ortigia. We found a very friendly place with friendly and attentive staff. Excellent dishes, including paccheri alla norma and paccheri with pistachios, both absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices.

13/07/2025: We loved the service and the food. The dish on the photo is the seafood rissoto. During peak season it is recommended to reserve a table.

15/06/2025: The food is excellent, very varied every day, excellently prepared. The staff is a team of kind and helpful guys. For over a year I have been going for lunch between Saturday and Sunday, when I am in Syracuse: all the dishes, dog or fish, are excellent and there is not one that has ever disappointed. Also try the buccellati and the almond-based products. Every time it is a confirmation.

08/06/2025: One of my favorite pastry shops in the Syracuse area, their ricotta di pasticceria is phenomenal. The staff is kind and above all professional. The environment is well kept and clean, as the only sore point it has the now unfortunately aged external veranda and by force of things (always compared to the external veranda) the tendency to be a narrow place difficult to use even for the staff if full. On the other hand, there is access for people with disabilities.

24/07/2025: I had the Linguine alla Gattopardo, with pistachio pesto and bottarga, truly tasty! But there's not a single dish I wouldn't have enjoyed: had I stayed longer, I would have tried the entire menu! I appreciated that at the bottom of the menu there's also a list of allergens present in their dishes, useful for those with intolerances. I think it's a nice touch. The table was on a terrace overlooking the sea, and the atmosphere made you feel at ease. The staff was friendly. So I'm satisfied. I recommend it!

27/07/2025: We had a strange experience at this bar/restaurant where the overheated and stressed waiter didn't remember what we had agreed on. The order got wrong on several occasions and resulted in a higher bill than we had planned. The food was good though. The panko breaded shrimp were the best we have ever had.

24/07/2025: My partner and I were looking for a place to have a drink after a long day of travels, so we stopped at this place. After sitting down we ordered and the drinks and food came within 15 minutes, and the waiter was very sweet and did her best to tailor to our English, which we greatly appreciated. The food was decent but the drinks were excellent, they offered so many variations of gin and tonic and other popular cocktails.

24/07/2025: Tra tutti i locali visitati qui non ci è venuta voglia di tornare, non tanto per il pranzo: costi e cibo sono nella media, siamo rimasti abbastanza soddisfatti, l'arredamento è retrò, il ristorante molto comodo, in pieno centro; ciò che non ci è piaciuto è come il titolare tratta i dipendenti, tutti possono sbagliare e vanno giustamente ripresi e indirizzati, ma non a voce alta, in maniera più che sgarbata e volgare e davanti ai clienti, non si fa. Ci auguriamo che sia stato un episodio isolato, soprattutto per il rispetto che tutte le persone meritano, indipendentemente dai loro eventuali errori.

16/07/2025: The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent—fresh, delicious fish—and the atmosphere is informal...they make you feel right at home. Evenings with live music are wonderful! The prices are lower than average for restaurants in Favignana.

16/07/2025: Il cibo è molto buono ma le porzioni risultano un po' piccole e il prezzo un po' altino considerando che la maggior parte del cibo è surgelato. Ad ogni modo lo consiglio :)

22/07/2025: The establishment looks good, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly as usual, all Italians, there is mosquito spray, but we waited 40 minutes for the waiter to place an order, but the dishes themselves were served quite quickly, about 15 minutes, the parking is terrible without a normal surface, with bottles scattered around and garbage bins and bags right next to the cars, without markings and all this right opposite the veranda where people eat.

07/07/2025: Excellent tuna, very good dishes, the restaurant is located in a panoramic spot and the evening is really pleasant. If I have to make one single complaint, it is not very pleasant to receive a dish and be told "tuna without sauce without this and without anything". Unfortunately I am celiac and I am forced to eat dishes in this way, I do not do it by choice, and being brought a dish like this was a small blemish on an otherwise perfect evening. However, the sad tuna without anything was perfectly cooked and very fresh, so it's fine like this

26/07/2025: A warm, family welcome and quality products. Here, tourists get their money's worth, and the prices are affordable and there are no nasty surprises. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

24/07/2025: Even though the place is well furnished outside, it is impossible to dine outside on hot days because you are still in the city and close to the road.

26/06/2025: Very little choice for breakfast and unprofessional waiter (he brings cappuccinos to the table and doesn't even ask who they are for! .. meh!). Finally they give you the receipt with the total price, so we couldn't even know how much each single thing we ordered cost! Disappointing!

13/04/2025: Nice place, best to book. Good pizza choices, friendly owner and average prices. Be careful, they don't make french fries or other fried foods, which benefits your health and your clothes which at the end of the evening won't smell like frying as sometimes happens in certain places. I just hope that not being able to pay with the POS was just a coincidence, otherwise you will have to adapt. Advised.

12/04/2025: Locale carino, meglio prenotare. Pizze scelte buone, il proprietario gentile e prezzi nella media. Attenzione che non fanno né patatine fritte né altre fritture, e ne beneficia la salute e i vestiti che a fine serata non puzzeranno di frittura come a volte capita in certi locali. Consigliato
