12/10/2025: I took the u sapuritu appetizer, consisting first of a large plate of raw fish (anchovies, shrimp, swordfish, octopus) followed by hot dishes with fried caponata, zeppelin skewer and sardines alla beccafico and mussel soup (I appreciated the cold one more) with water and a glass of wine for under 30 euros.
11/10/2025: The restaurant has a pleasant, family atmosphere; we managed to get in at 7:30 PM without a reservation. The mussels were a generous portion for our appetizer, and the iconic swordfish unfortunately didn't appeal to our palate, but the fish was well prepared. A generous glass of wine was a bonus :)

24/11/2025: The building where the TV series "Sprut" was filmed is unfortunately in need of renovation. Overall, it was still interesting to see.
23/11/2025: We attended a relatives' evening wedding.
I was truly speechless: it felt like a king and queen's wedding. The setting was breathtaking, the organization perfect, and the dishes were unique, prepared by a famous chef!

Despite the entrance, the place is clean and dignified. The food is excellent and the value is excellent. And the lovely and kind waitress who welcomes you with a big smile is gold these days. Recommended!!!!

It's a well-known fact that it's still a gas station bar and tobacconist, but the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the staff make all the difference. It's worth deviating from your itinerary and, why not, visiting on purpose.

25/11/2025: We had lunch at Ivan and Rossana's and immediately felt like we were among friends. But the biggest surprise was the quality of the delicious horsemeat sandwiches. I was also impressed by the cleanliness, order, and attention to detail shown—not something you'll take for granted. If you're in Syracuse, you absolutely have to visit.
