Madreselva - Restaurante Argentino In Palermo

A delicious meal and very pleasant staff... for our last Sicilian evening, we couldn't have dreamed of anything better! I highly recommend it.

Excellent place and very good service. I felt like I was dining in Puerto Madero.

The "Argentine" dining room staff was impeccable, especially sommelier Leandro, who not only responded to our requests for the perfect wine pairing with our dishes, but also responded to a request initially denied by a young waiter and the maître d' (both unsmiling and not as welcoming as they should be). The appetizers and meats were top-quality (excellently cooked). The prices are reasonable for what they offer and serve. P.S. As for the denied request: it was 7:50 PM, the restaurant was almost empty, and the room I had chosen when booking had a table (who had arrived before us) with two children who were, to say the least, mischievous. It was my partner's birthday—I had even specified this in the reservation notes—we work all week, and we certainly didn't want to have our evening ruined. Thank goodness we asked Leandro! 😀

Best Argentine BBQ I’ve had outside of Argentina! Great Empanadas, great service and really great ambiance! The people are great and super attentive. I am from the United States but have been to Argentina many times. This is an authentic experience for anyone who wants to know about Argentine culture. I can’t say enough about the care and heart that these people put into the whole place and into the food. Everything was absolutely amazing! We had empanadas, several steaks, the tomato salad, French fries, dessert was pancakes with dulce de leche and churros with dulce de leche, along with a bottle of wine and then coffee with milk at the end. Thanks for an amazing time!

You cannot find food like this anywhere else but in the heart of Mendoza! Fabian & Gustavo have brought the warmth and flavors of Argentina to Palermo. The execution of the dishes is just as impressive as the taste. This restaurant is a must try. Prepare to be transported to an authentic Mendocino asado! There are multiple seating options (indoor & outdoor with some outdoor covered) and the ambiance is vibrant and comforting. Their menu is easy to navigate and clearly lists out allergens and intolerances for any dietary restrictions. The staff is friendly and attentive to ensure the best service. They also helped with wine recommendations! We started with the empanadas (carne & cebolla), and had some meat (entraña, vacio, lomo) for the main course. Everything was cooked to perfection and so full of flavor we couldn’t stop eating! Their chimichuri was the perfect addition. Lastly, the churros and panqueques con dulce de leche were the perfect finish along with some espresso. Stop in for the best and most tasty experience!!!

My husband and I took a trip through Italy, which ended in Palermo, and we were recommended a restaurant called Madreselva, an Argentinian restaurant. Highly recommended! Delicious empanadas, just like grandma used to make, perfectly cooked skirt steak with baked potatoes—a real treat! Paired with a good wine, they recommended a Don Pedro for dessert, and everything was fantastic. If you go to Palermo, don't miss it! Chef Mauricio is a genius, and Fabian made us feel right at home.

Hi, I was strolling through Palermo Italia and we went to eat at an Argentinian restaurant owned by Gustavo and Fabian Garcia. The service was excellent, even better than in Argentina! Highly recommended.

Excellent experience at Madre Selva. The meat was truly high-quality, well-prepared, and cooked to perfection. The wine selection was also good. The service was prompt and friendly, without being intrusive. I'll gladly return.
