08/09/2025: We're from Rome, and a friend brought us here saying, "I'll let you try the real Sicilian arancina."
Well... he was right! 😍
We traveled around Sicily for 20 days, eating arancina everywhere, but nowhere did we find one as good as at Bar Turistico.
Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside: simply perfect.
Before leaving for Rome, we had to return. And we even bought some to eat on the ship.
If you're in the area, you absolutely can't miss it: this is the real Sicilian arancina!

Cuando fuimos el frente de la tienda estaba cubierto de andamios, lo que restó un poco de la experiencia, pero no la culpa de la cafetería.
Comimos naranja sanguinolento y café granita. Ambos deliciosos.

24/10/2025: This place didn’t disappoint! The reviews were great as they should have been! This place is inexpensive and the quality is superb. Service was friendly and the food came out quick.
This is counter service and it was overrun with teenagers but all seemed to be local which is a plus for us.
20€ for two main dishes and a starter! How can you go wrong! ❤️
19/10/2025: Lovely pasta bar walking distance to cruise terminal, highly recommended by a local college student and we enjoyed our experience. The couple that owns it were adorable and food was amazing. Great value, you can customize the portions. Ladies found the standard size more than enough, guys went for large.

09/10/2025: Excellent traditional cooking in a stylish setting. Good service. The menu was relatively affordable - not cheap but this is semi-fine-dining and the quality is great. The carob dessert killed me, absolutely delicious.

Best vongole I've had whilst travelling around Sicily.

16/10/2025: Last night we ate pizza at this place, and my whole family was truly impressed. They offer a wide variety of gourmet pizzas on the menu, with extremely reasonable prices considering the quality and abundance of toppings.
I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
08/10/2025: Excellent pizza. Personally, I ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, but the cured meats weren't particularly good. The only cheese they had was Emmental. I would have expected some Sicilian cheeses...
