Trattoria La Maidda In Castellammare del golfo

A place that may seem touristy because it is on the pedestrian street. This is not the case and I highly recommend you go. The server was absolutely perfect (advice, smile, helpful) The dishes were delicious, in short, a perfect evening, thank you!!

You can eat at this place with your eyes closed!

Luckily today we were at Maidda. After yesterday's experience at Amici mie in Trapani (see my review), at Maidda they showed me that Sicilian catering is not what I ate yesterday. I return to Lombardy with a fantastic taste of aubergine caponata still in my mouth, 🔝, busiate with prawns, and other dishes that I won't list, but I assure you that whatever we ordered, the dishes returned shiny in the kitchen. I couldn't choose whether to praise the staff more for their professionalism or their friendliness/friendliness. However, we were pampered right from the start, and we ate very well for the right amount. Thanks guys, well done!!!

Una scoperta piacevole a Castellammare. È sul corso principale, una trattoria senza pretese nell'aspetto, ma attendete prima di giudicare. Prendete qualsiasi cosa, vedrete che vi stupirà. La semplice caponata è gustosissima, il primosale arrostito con alice e confettura di arance è paradisiaco e i maccheroni con sarde e finocchetto sono semplicemente uniche. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, prezzi onesti, qualità eccelsa. Consigliato.

L'ultima serata in sicilia ci hanno consigliato questa trattoria tipica siciliana. Mai ho ringraziato abbastanza il mio consigliere. Accolti da personale gentilissimo, disponibile che ci ha suggerito abbinamenti rivelatisi molto gustosi. Ottima presentazione con gli antipasti caldi e freddi per 2 persone. I ravioli in salsa di pistacchio ed i maccheroni alla Norma condivisi con mia moglie (1/2 piatto a testa) hanno ritagliato nel mio palato un piacevole ricordo dei primi siciliani. Porzioni abbondanti mi hanno trattenuto nell'affrontare i secondi a base di pesce che vedevo passare. Il semifreddo al pistacchio ed il parfait di mandorle (sempre al 50% con moglie) hanno concluso un pasto dal ricordo indelebile. Trattoria (al massimo livello) che consiglio vivamente di provare per chi passa per Castellammare del Golfo.
