An unpretentious restaurant in the center of Acireale.
The appetizers and main courses (the menu's strong points) are good, but the first courses could use some rethinking.
The staff is young but professional and helpful.

My partner and I went there to eat one evening.
The area is really nice and quiet (center of Acireale).
The waiter who served us was really kind and helpful.
We had an appetizer for two and two first courses, and we were really happy.

The food was amazing! The menu is only a few pages long, which is always a good sign: it means whatever they cook, they do it well. We've had the things on the menu that we can not find elsewhere: donkey steak and tripe stew. They definitely did not disappoint! We are actually considering learning how to cook the tripe stew at home as well :D

The house-made antipasti were truly delicious and very filling: I could have stopped right there!
The tagliolini with mushrooms were slightly salty, but overall still enjoyable. On the plus side, we also ordered the sausage with "trunzu," which we thoroughly enjoyed.
I would also have liked to try the tagliata di carne, which looked truly inviting when we saw it at the next table, but we were already full.
I would recommend it anyway!

We ate sooooo well! The trunzu salad was fantastic... Highly recommended, tasty, and the Sicilian donkey steak already seasoned by them was unique!!!!
