21/10/2025: Fantastic! They recommended it to us at the hotel where we stayed (ADAMAS), and it truly is a fantastic restaurant. I went with my husband and we had two first courses and a second course. The dishes were well-made and very generous. Fair prices.

Recommended by a friend, we only made a reservation three days in advance by phone, but despite the short notice, we were more than satisfied. Everything was perfect. There were over thirty of us. 16/10/2025: Food was excellent with generous portions, fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. Proprietor was welcoming and very friendly and took the time to explain the dishes and translate menu items into English. We had the eggplant Mille-feuille as an appetizer, beef ragu with bigoli pasta and veal filet with porcini mushrooms. For dessert, their tiramisu with chocolate- thick and creamy and delicious.

07/11/2025: I celebrated my 18th birthday at Villa Mirador, and I'd like to share my experience. I chose Sala Roberta for my special day, a room that was impeccable to say the least. The decor, by Orazio Patanè, was also impeccable, and the dishes were perfect and delicious. Special mention goes to one of the owners, Mr. Michele was very helpful throughout the entire preparations, yet the evening was almost completely ruined by terrible entertainment. In fact, the evening could have easily ended at 11:00 if it hadn't been for me, who had planned everything down to the smallest detail. There wasn't even time to clear one dish before another arrived immediately afterward. When I asked both the maître d' and the entertainment staff to slow down, they completely ignored me. In fact, dinner started at 9:40 and ended at 11:00 (a dinner consisting of a buffet, appetizer, two first courses, and one second course). By 11:00, we had already reached or was close to the cake. I would like to point out that even before the birthday party began, I had told the entertainment staff and a gentleman in the dining room that I didn't want the birthday party to go by quickly, yet my request was not granted. I'd like to focus on the entertainment, which, as far as I'm concerned, is a total waste of money. In fact, the first complaint came as soon as I entered the room. A dear friend of mine gave the USB stick with the video to the DJ and the entertainer, and they immediately started systematically complaining about the length of the latter (25 minutes). Subsequently, the discontent continued. In fact, when I asked to slow down, they replied, "Oh, we can't stay here all night," at 10:30. Furthermore, the entertainer wasn't at all involved. I asked for dances from groups of their choice, and the entertainer didn't even bother to show us the dances, assuming we knew them. I don't think this is professional entertainment, or at least at no other 18th birthday party I've been to has it ever been done as ineffectively as at mine. I believe that customers deserve better treatment, since these are all events that I, like all of us, have been waiting for for years or months and the fact that the latter should be ruined by unprofessional people is certainly not ideal, in fact, for the whole evening I felt as if they wanted to send me away, I am sorry to write this review because, as already said, Mr. Michele, the room, the chef etc. were excellent and impeccable in everything, I hope that they can soon improve this aspect as all the others are taken care of down to the smallest details.

02/11/2025: I happened upon it during lunchtime and stopped in. The place was welcoming and very clean, the staff was polite, attentive, and never intrusive. I ordered a portion of Tuma Cunzata, which was truly delicious—very crunchy and generous. I couldn't finish it, and I could taste it as if it had been fried in clean oil. Hats off! Afterward, I ordered spaghetti with clams, and, despite the fact that they served fresh tonnarelli (and they should have made that clear already), the pasta was cooked incorrectly. The tonnarelli stuck to my teeth, which was incredibly annoying. Worst of all, the pasta was incredibly salty. I know pasta with clams is a tasty dish, but this was so salty it made me want to drink every bite. I hope you take this review as a reason to be careful, not a negative.

16/11/2025: I celebrated my 18th birthday at Casa Modò, well what can I say? A fantastic location, dreamlike, very elegant and trendy, including the recently renovated outdoor area. The staff was highly trained and respectful of the level of the structure. Above all, I really appreciated their professionalism that accompanied me from the beginning until the event led by the director Pappalardo.

14/10/2025: Finishing our tour of Sicily, we found here the finest address in the interpretation of the classics of local cuisine (the fisherman's couscous of course as well as their caponata).

20/10/2025: From our own production: 18 different ice cream flavors, around 30 different little works of art made from cookies, and at least 3 different brioches, best enjoyed as a breakfast with granita and cappuccino. Those who prefer a more hearty lunch or dinner should treat themselves to an arancini or a mini pizza at the warm bar. There are also other delicious pastries with cheese or vegetable fillings. For a sundowner, you can ask Maria Grazia for advice on over 200 types of gin or ask Daniel for his cocktail recommendations. Of course, there are also a few beers to choose from. One thing is certain: you arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. In addition to the homemade delicacies, there is something here that you don't often find in this world: a home away from home. Thanks to the entire team for unforgettable days (and a few more pounds on the scale). We'll be back.

30/11/2025: We came to Gangi from Palermo for a Sunday outing with my boyfriend. They highly recommended this place, but unfortunately we hadn't booked, and they advised us to come back hours later if a table became available. Unfortunately, I felt unwell (I suffer from a genetic muscle syndrome, migraines, and am visibly underweight). A kind gentleman took us to the emergency medical center, where we were advised to rest and eat before driving back to Palermo (an hour and a half away). So, since it was the only trattoria within walking distance, we went there again (just before closing time), hoping they would be kind. I couldn't speak and was visibly pale and confused. My boyfriend kindly asked if there were any free tables, explaining that it was an emergency. The owner, recognizing us, rudely replied that there were no tables available, turning to the waiter and mockingly whispering that we had come twice, as if we were trying to make fun of them. I understand the lack of seating, but I found the owner's and the entire staff's behavior toward a young woman who was clearly struggling to be truly inhumane and insensitive. They didn't even bother to let me sit down for a moment, and if I wanted a glass of water, they literally kicked us out, telling us to go to the bar a few meters away. We were truly upset and left without saying anything, with mocking comments playing in the background.
