24/10/2025: Super delicious arancini! We tried all four flavors available, and it's really hard to rank them from best to worst because they were all delicious. Perfectly crispy breading, flavorful and fragrant fillings. They cost €2.50 each, except for the squid ink one, which costs €4. They're quite large, and four arancini will fill two people. I highly recommend them, and I hope to return.

15/10/2025: Excellent street food spot, super central, delicious food, and super cheap: 4 arancini and 2 craft beers, €17. The lady at the counter is super nice and friendly... Highly recommended.

22/11/2025: We went to this wonderful restaurant with family last night. From the hospitality to the fantastic food, it was a dream. We embraced the fact that there was no menu. Our companion knew exactly why they had chosen this place. Unfortunately, after the numerous and delicious antipasti, we had to stop. But we couldn't eat any more. We won't forget this evening anytime soon.

19/10/2025: The guide recommended it to us, and it was fantastic. We had pasta with clams and baked sea bream, both delicious. The sea bream that morning was breathtaking. The fish of the day. Well cooked. The service was very friendly and warm. The atmosphere was discreet, elegant, yet warm. We didn't try the desserts because we weren't hungry, but the cannoli and tiramisu looked amazing.

24/10/2025: What a gem!!! You receive a „surprise menu“, carefully curated and each dish was delicious, using regional products (e.g. hand picked mushrooms from the mountains around) or from their own farm. You can feel the love in every bite, and the owner passionately explains every product. As we are hiking from village to village we were initially afraid of it’s too fancy and can’t go in our casual clothes. Yet, it has such a warm vibe and we felt perfectly at ease. Really a dinner to remember and prices were super fair as well.

13/10/2025: Where to begin... I'll start by saying we weren't from the area, and at lunchtime, it was the only place open nearby. Right outside, we were greeted by a slew of cats lounging around the door, but once inside, the nightmare began. The chair cushions were stained and soaked in hair and unpleasant animal odors, and the air was terrifying, like an open-air cat urinal! The food was below average, tasteless, with poor side dishes. I even found a white cat hair on a piece of cheese, which I silently wrapped in paper, but in hindsight, I should have mentioned it... only to end up with a rather steep bill for what we'd been offered. Totally disappointing value for money. The overall hygiene conditions should be checked, and I say this without being argumentative, with the utmost sincerity. The host was a man of few words, never smiling. I wouldn't recommend it.

22/09/2025: An unmissable culinary experience for meat lovers. The restaurant offers high-quality cuts and a wide selection, served in a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, although the place can get noisy. Reservations are recommended.

22/08/2025: Everything was perfect!!! The staff were kind and attentive, making you feel right at home. I tried the arrosticini, skewers, and sausage: everything was excellent, the meat melted in your mouth and the flavors were very distinct. If you're passing through Villabate, you can't miss them!!

01/11/2025: As soon as I left Foresteria San Giacomo, I said to myself, "How come I haven't been here before?" The answer came naturally: too many disappointments in the area, especially the burger joints where you pay a lot and find neither quality nor courtesy. Here, however, everything finally changes. The ambiance is meticulously maintained, the staff is kind and truly knowledgeable: they welcome you with a smile and know how to best advise you. The food? Simply excellent. I had a truly tasty burger, paired with a perfect craft beer, recommended by the waiter with great professionalism. Some friends chose the couscous and couldn't stop raving about how good it was. And if you're vegan or vegetarian, like my wife, you'll find surprising dishes here: she tried a vegan stew that made her happier than I'd seen her in a long time. When the bill arrived, I was struck by the perfect balance between price and quality. You leave feeling full, happy, and wanting to return as soon as possible. A place I'd call a wonderful discovery, capable of restoring faith in good dining in Alcamo!

29/10/2025: Dinner at fish bar ortigia was very nice. Fresh gamberoni grilled, fritura calamari also very good. A quiet place a bit outside the busy city. Emily Service and accomodating for portions for kids.

18/12/2025: Beautiful experience, as always sferracavallo yes but let's say well, it's a shame that they reduced everything, once they put a lot of food on the table, yes maybe it was wasted but you could take it home if there was anything left, something that never happened, but instead now, that I went after a long time, the food is brought to you but the food is always good

Simply put, at Andrea Testaverde's Al Brigantino, it's a celebration of fine Sicilian cuisine, fresh fish, a view of the Sferracavallo coast, impeccable service, and the courtesy of all the staff... what more could you want? Yes, there is one thing: you'll want to come back!
