08/11/2025: I am super dissatisfied. They have a menu on the internet, we choose our food and make a reservation. After which we go to the place and find out that the menu is completely different dishes from one plate. Pretty poor. I do not recommend. We paid for our water and went to another restaurant. This is the first time something like this has happened to me in Sicily.

18/01/2026: This morning my husband and I decided to have breakfast here to try the famous XXL croissant and also the aperitif... we were really very satisfied, everything was delicious, a quiet atmosphere and fabulous staff, very kind and helpful... the XXL croissant was really good and the creams that accompany it were very tasty, then with the aperitif you can have all the sweets you prefer, we had some puff pastries and fried foods, everything was good

28/12/2025: Excellent spaghetti with seafood. The carbonara was also delicious, but I would have preferred a slightly larger portion. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the tiramisu. The service was perfect, Mattre took good care of us.

28/12/2025: Reservation at 2:30 pm and food received at 4:30 pm. Food took 2 Hours to cook, even after asking multiple times where we were told to “ wait another 5 minutes “ multiple times. Staff was not understanding and mostly ignored us

07/01/2026: Years later, I'm very happy to return. The same attention and care given to the dishes that had so impressed me the first time! The lady who served us in the dining room was kind and attentive, but the place was full, so despite her good intentions, perhaps a little more service would be needed on holidays or weekends!

25/02/2026: A lovely place in the center of Cefalù, with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was standard, courteous, and there were no waits. The farfalle with salmon were really good. I would gladly return.

07/02/2026: I had a fantastic experience at the golden food bar! The Mediterranean spritz was wonderfully refreshing, perfectly suited for a relaxing moment. The owner, Peppe, kindly offered delicious bruschette with fresh tomatoes—an excellent touch that complemented the drink beautifully. Additionally, I enjoyed a delightful piadina filled with avocado, caprino cheese, a fluffy egg frittata, and fresh rucola. Each bite was flavorful and satisfying, showcasing high-quality ingredients and great craftsmanship. Highly recommend this spot for a laid-back, tasty experience with warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning!

04/03/2026: Every time we go from Syracuse to central Sicily, we stop at OLD WILDE, because we eat well and they are fast. Today, however, aside from the welcome and taking the orders, the girls were kind, but when they brought our main courses, which were two, my mother and I got confused with the names and the girl's response was: yes, but make up your mind. I do this job, I know what it means, the smile and the politeness when you work in contact with the public, if you're pissed off, stay home! You can't talk like that to customers. This job is done with passion, pride and for money. Thanks Old Wilde West, but today the person who served us was exuberantly rude, so I don't know if we'll sit down again next time, since she didn't even apologize but justified herself by saying palace with your mother, which for me is even worse.

17/03/2026: I ate the best cannoli in this bar in a small, very beautiful town! The ricotta was incredibly delicious and the cannoli were very large.

05/01/2026: No clue why this place gets reviews this high, it must be influencers or something. Out of all the pizzas we had in Palermo this was probably some of the worst. Everything was dry: the dough, barely any sauce, and no taste, overall not a pleasant experience. You could probably find a better pizza walking into a random place anywhere in Palermo.
