31/07/2025: In one of the narrow streets near Alcamo Castle, you'll find Foresteria San Giacomo. The staff welcomed us impeccably, even though we arrived late for our reservation. Giacomo, the waiter who served us in the dining room, is very good at explaining the dishes on and off the menu. My partner and I wondered why the place was called that, and he was brilliant at reconstructing the history of the place (no spoilers, just ask them). Delicious dishes, flavors of authentic Sicily, far from touristy influences. Special mention goes to the tuna "vraciuluni" (I hope I spelled that correctly), the tagliatelle with octopus ragù, and the ravioli alla norma. 24/07/2025: Great place, very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent food! We were a table of 8, each with a different dish, and we had a great time. Excellent value for money.

04/09/2025: It's impossible to have such good reviews when nothing is really good!!! Canned ratatouille Very poor, tasteless Sicilian salad, canned green beans, a roughly chopped tomato, a boiled potato cut into quarters, small pieces of olives, etc. Very dry and terrible Marsala wine A real disgrace to Italian and Sicilian cuisine! Avoid!

30/06/2025: Very nice place located in the center of Cefalù, we had dinner with two first courses and two glasses of local wine, welcomed very well by the owner who is in the dining room and his son who is in the kitchen. Very fresh raw materials and excellent value for money for being in Cefalù.

31/08/2025: The best pizza!! Finally, after 10 days in Italy, great pizza! Takeout, so you don't pay extra. But there are tables outside if you want to sit down. The taste is amazing and the view of the sea is amazing. Right on Via Roma - brilliant!

07/09/2025: We were lucky enough to find a table near closing time, next to where the orders were being taken, and we really ate well and understood the amount of work they put into seeing the dishes come out, obviously because they cook well. The ravioli fantasia were exquisite, as were the eggplant meatballs. I'm not a fan of the pasta alla Norma, but my wife liked it. They also offered us complimentary croque, panelle, and fish fritters that were delicious. Finally, we had a glass of the house red wine, and of our entire trip to the region, it was the best wine. Chinotto is a Sicilian drink, a little sweet for my taste. In conclusion, we ate well, so I recommend it.

29/08/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant! We found it by chance near the Teatro Massimo, and chose it among many others because my son liked the table linens. We felt right at home: the hospitality and patience of the owner and the staff were ready to accommodate every request (even putting up with the noise from our children!).

13/07/2025: A baptism banquet. Impeccable service. The lunch was well-timed, with the various dishes arriving promptly. They were delicious and beautiful to look at. The dessert was also very satisfying. The room was well-air conditioned, despite the heat outside. The playground and animals were great for the little ones.

09/06/2025: If you want to spend a different Sunday this is the right place, I highly recommend booking, a truly unique location, with attention to detail, large air-conditioned dining rooms, fast and impeccable service, everyone smiling and attentive to meeting the needs of the customer, outside a large space where you can admire many species of animals and at the end of the path an enchanting natural waterfall.

22/08/2025: We opted for the aperifish, which includes several courses, a drink, and dessert. It's €18 + €3 cover charge, a fair price for the quality and quantity of the dishes. The place is quiet and the staff are very friendly.

17/08/2025: A pleasant discovery in our beloved city. Just a few minutes from home, a very welcoming and quality restaurant. Excellent service and delicious, fresh dishes. Gluten-free options are also available. The owner, very knowledgeable and kind, explained the dishes perfectly and made sure we didn't miss anything. We'll see you again soon!

18/08/2025: It's like eating seafood at sea! The freshest fish...salmon swordfish rolls, octopus with homemade grapefruit jam, busiata pasta with sardines... UNFORGETTABLE!!!! And to top it off, homemade liqueurs (wild mint and bitter orange)! What can I say, I can't wait to go back!

09/07/2025: A wonderful museum, featuring contemporary art by very unique and little-known international artists, including some works by Andy Warhol, rarely mentioned in many books, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The exhibition and the variety of works are truly remarkable; you can immerse yourself in the art for hours. The staff are admirably kind, and the shop offers much food for thought and inspiration.
