Shalai Restaurant In Linguaglossa

We had an amazing stay, and dinner at Shalai. We upgraded to the Junior Suite with terrace, and the room was really perfect. The ceiling just wow! The staff all really helpful and friendly. And for dinner we had the “Leggende di Terre” (meat tasting menu) with wine pairing which was fabulous & a really amazing experience.

Superb hotel. Really lovely, historic, and comfortable. The reception staff were very attentive and spoke French. Good breakfast with a varied menu. Pretty white tablecloths. Refined dinner available on site.

Shalai Resort is an elegant boutique hotel in Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Mount Etna, in the province of Catania. This 4-star hotel is located in a beautifully restored 19th-century building. The rooms feature a modern yet warm style, some with a whirlpool tub. The Shalai Restaurant, with its contemporary Sicilian cuisine and 1 Michelin star, offers excellent dishes and a well-stocked wine cellar. There is a spa with a Turkish bath, whirlpool pool, sauna, and wellness treatments. Although small, it is very welcoming. Perfect for a relaxing, food, and nature experience. I highly recommend it ❗️

Highly recommended away from the typical tourist areas. Stay overnight in the peaceful village at the foot of Mount Etna.

A table for seven with diverse tastes and palates. We began planning the menu the day before with the restaurant staff to ensure everyone would be satisfied. Dinner was a memorable culinary experience, but what struck me most was the attention to service. The wait staff was highly qualified and attentive to every detail.
