A fantastic experience at Pane Fresa Rita, an authentic place that seems to transport you back to a bygone Sardinia. The restaurant is rustic, traditional, and full of that genuine atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find today. Here, you can experience tradition, simplicity, and a true passion for Sardinian cuisine. The dishes are authentic, prepared with locally sourced ingredients and products made directly by Rita, who, in addition to being an excellent cook, is also an extraordinary host, capable of making every guest feel welcomed like family. Authentic flavors, timeless recipes, and exceptional quality in every course. From the typical products to the homemade desserts, everything speaks of love for the region and respect for tradition. An authentic, warm, and unforgettable place, where you don't just go to eat well, but to experience a piece of the real Sardinia.

A delightful family-run restaurant with a homey atmosphere. The dishes and desserts are artisanal and incredibly fresh. I loved the zichi with meat sauce (even better than the frattau, which is still very good). The orange and walnut tart and the bianchini are delicious. The owner is incredibly kind; she makes the dishes herself. A pleasant discovery that definitely deserves repeat visits.

If I could, I'd give it even more than 5 stars. This place is wonderful and deserves top marks in every way! The restaurant is on the first floor of an old historic building, a cozy and unique space with carefully selected yet truly pleasant furnishings, literally steps from Piazza Italia. Thanks in part to the spring-like temperatures, we ate with the windows open, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The owner's kindness and friendliness, as well as her skill and passion in the kitchen, won us over. And now for the dishes. I don't think I've ever eaten so well in Sardinia, and I'm not exaggerating! Simple, traditional dishes, made with carefully selected local ingredients. We opted for the tasting menu and let ourselves be guided; each course was a surprise and exceptional. I'll be back in Sassari in a month, so I'll definitely be back and recommend everyone to stop by!
