A lovely place, with very friendly, attentive, and "active" staff.
Excellent croissants, ditto the coffee.
€13.70 for 3 croissants, 1 coffee, 1 juice, and 1 cup of hot milk, a price reasonable for the type of service.
Good parking nearby, outdoor area for drinks, and quick bites available.

16/08/2025: Booked place for me and my friends (which later canceled on me) however best decision to come alone and enjoy this beautiful 10 days here is this establishment and great hospitality from everyone 😊 food is great, they treated me with an excellent white wine and the room is made for a king since my friends are not there i have more then enough space 😀

Of all the places we tried in Cagliari, Locanda del Buongustaio is definitely the best restaurant my partner and I have ever tried! We're both very picky eaters, and they exceeded our expectations.
They're also super friendly, and the service is impeccable. The price is very fair! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

18/07/2025: First time here. Spectacular! We ate wonderfully and had a great chat with Angelo, a wonderful person. The grilled fish was exceptional, as were the malloreddus and culurgiones (forgive me if I spelled them wrong). Everything was delicious! Congratulations!
11/07/2025: Excellent restaurant: traditional dishes, strictly handmade. The culurgiones and sebadas are top-notch! Excellent service. The owner, Anna (a superb cook), and the waiter, who continues the family's historic business, were very kind. It was a pleasure to chat with them. Anna came out of the kitchen, carrying the pasta and filling, and showed us how to close the culurgiones. We'll treasure them and return!

13/07/2025: Great availability even when booking by phone, excellent on-site reception, super-fast preparation of my young son's dish (cutlets and fries). I chose the lobster linguine, a true delicacy as well as a beautiful sight, not to mention the decidedly generous portion, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then continued with some delicious shrimp and fish meatballs, finishing with a delicious lactose-free Catalan cream. My husband chose land between a lovely appetizer of Sardinian cheeses and cured meats and a very good Angus beef, to finish with his own dessert and a warm chocolate cake for my son. We chose the à la carte menu due to our preference, but they also offer very interesting guided tasting menus. I also want to highlight the attention to detail in every single course, as well as the option of lactose-free options, including desserts. The value for money was absolutely more than fair. We had a great time and therefore highly recommend it, both for families and in general. The location is intimate, minimal yet effective, and super clean (as are the bathrooms).

05/07/2025: Excellent spaghetteria, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It also offers, of course, Sardinian specialties, presented with care and passion.
03/07/2025: We have been to the restaurant three times and each time we left satisfied. A large selection of wines, so everyone will certainly find something for themselves. The food is delicious. We ate octopus with apple, a perfectly composed combination of flavors. Pasta Scoglio is a large portion of seafood, perfectly prepared in a delicious sauce. The food and the atmosphere that the people there create is amazing. I recommend that you definitely visit this place when you are in Santa Teresa. It is worth making a reservation in advance.

La cucina è eccellente, con piatti curati nei dettagli e ingredienti di prima qualità. La selezione di vini è raffinata e ben pensata, perfetta per accompagnare ogni portata. Il personale è altamente professionale, ma allo stesso tempo cordiale e amichevole, contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera rilassata e conviviale. Un luogo dove tornare, certi di essere coccolati a ogni visita.

The pizza is truly delicious, and I must say it was top-notch, with fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. The value for money is one of the best in the Cagliari area. 29/08/2025: My husband and I went there one evening to try a new place in Cabras. The atmosphere was simple but welcoming, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had two first courses, two second courses, and a seadas (a typical Sicilian dish) shared between us, along with a bottle of wine, and it was a fair price. Everything was delicious. We're used to traveling, and we were pleasantly surprised. In fact, we're going back tonight :)! A second course is well-deserved!

Prices aren't cheap, but they're average.
The staff are friendly and very attentive to their guests' needs.
