Ristorante Il Pavone In

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident on a busy Friday night as it was the only restaurant with decent reviews that could seat us and were absolutely blown away. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, the sea bass “Antonino” and the seada for the desert and each course was more delicious than the last. Easily the best food we ate on Sardinia, friendly service and great value for money.

Superb dinner, guided by Mimmo's excellent advice and passionate storytelling. Fresh, seasonal ingredients, well-blended and light. The spread of the goat cheese, smoked ricotta, and chili pepper mix Mimmo has been making for 47 years on warm bread is unforgettable. Don't miss the gelato of the day and the Bobó. Excellent selection of Vermentino. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

Upon entering, the welcome is immediately warm and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, it shows! There's a real family atmosphere, you can feel it! The menu is cleverly concise, focusing on fresh ingredients. Tuna carpaccio with artichokes, langoustine with a lovely tartare-like sauce, grilled or sautéed sea bass cooked to perfection. For the wine selection, a very good Vermentino from Alghero, crisp, vibrant, and a pleasant surprise. We had a wonderful time and would love to return tomorrow. Bravo!
