10/05/2026: For my first visit, it disappointed my expectations. Poor pizza selection, nonexistent appetizers, and average thin-crust pizza. I recommend the gluten-free version (for celiacs), it's truly excellent. Quick service and reasonable prices.

14/07/2026: There are two locations: one is the Donna Lavinia estate, the other is just Tenuta Lavinia. I've been to the latter and I must say they are very professional. The food is good, the atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and they pay great attention to detail. They have several rooms to accommodate multiple events, but they usually specialize in weddings, and they do it masterfully! Congratulations!

We appreciated that the appetizers were served one at a time, so we could savor them without having too many flavors in our mouths right away. The pettole, served several times during the appetizer service, were truly spectacular. The food is undoubtedly high-quality and expertly prepared. I highly recommend a stop.

12/07/2026: An amazing lunch and one of our favorite meals in Italy! The carbonara was incredible, with perfectly crispy guanciale, and every course from the starter to the tiramisu and cappuccino was excellent. Chef Simone prepared an amazing meal, and our server Alessio was incredibly kind and made the experience even more special. We spoke a little Italian, he spoke a little English, and somehow we had a wonderful time together. 😊 Highly recommend Giulia!

03/03/2026: A terrible Valentine's Day experience, to say the least. If we wanted to consider it for our wedding, we did well to have it. The rooms were not only dirty, the heating didn't work at all. Nor did the hot water. We found cigarette butts in the bedside table drawer. The TV remote was missing, the minibar was empty. Of course, the room manager made himself available, but he didn't resolve the issue. He said everything was in order and that everything would be resolved immediately... a lie. The hot water didn't arrive until the next day, and the bathroom was an igloo. So, we went to the event without showering, neither us nor the kids. Of course, at the time of payment. After I complained about all this, they simply took thirty euros off my final bill. Without a valid excuse. And then I forgot, at the end of the event, we walked from the hall to the rooms, the whole way in the rain with two strollers and two children. They had told us the route would be entirely indoors. In case of rain! Never again...except that the manager wanted to see us again to offer us the room for our future wedding.

23/07/2026: This restaurant is amazing- it would deserve a Michelin Star and you get this with a fraction of the cost. If you are a good connaisseur this place is a must try, especially their tasting menu (which in preparation, creativity and execution is sits a level higher than their amazing a la carte items). Everything is extremely well made while keeping a traditional feel. Also the service was above par. They offered for us to taste a couple of different wines they suggested (from a wide list)as they saw us undecided and they did this very happly and accommodatingly I would have give it 6 stars if I could have.

23/07/2026: My wife and I returned to Barletta after almost two years and stopped at my favorite restaurant. At Antica Cucina, I found the same atmosphere, the same excellent products, and the wonderful welcome that, every time, made me feel at home. What more can I say? A well-kept restaurant, always clean, exquisitely prepared dishes, discreet and attentive wait staff, and simply exceptional hosts! I recommend it to everyone for a business lunch or dinner, with family, for special occasions, or even, as I often did in the past, alone. Also because, in this restaurant, you're never alone; you feel welcomed like family. I thank everyone again for making us feel at home while enjoying local delicacies. See you soon!
