While passing through Barletta, we stopped here for dinner. We had an excellent sirloin steak and a really good pizza. The homemade bread and breadsticks were also fabulous, not to mention the tiramisu! 😋. The staff were very kind and friendly, and they were especially attentive to allergies and intolerances. The only downside was that the chairs weren't particularly comfortable.

Beautiful location and excellent pizza, with traditional Apulian flavor combinations. Definitely worth a try! The prices are a bit higher than average, and the pizza was overcooked, resulting in it being partially burned. Other than that, it's definitely worth a visit.

I travel far and wide throughout Puglia, but Portento is always the best. A few days ago, we heard the news that Italian cuisine has been named a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. So we can say that Portento is its flagship. Pizza...there's no better pizza.

We went to Portento for a special family occasion, and I have to say that, this time as always, our expectations were exceeded! The staff was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive, the ingredients were high-quality, and the pizza was superb. A special mention goes to this reinterpretation of Bari's sgagliozze with meat sauce: absolutely worth a try.

28/03/2026: Excellent quality, I've been there twice. The pizzas are extraordinary, beautiful, colorful, and delicious. The charcuterie and cheese platter is very well-curated and delicious. I recommend the foal carpaccio, which has a very delicate flavor. The baked potatoes are unusual, so original. The desserts are also excellent. The staff is very kind and helpful. I'll be back again, congratulations!

The highlight is the dough: the 72-hour maturation process ensures an incredibly light and fragrant pizza. Say goodbye to feeling heavy; eating here is a true pleasure! Not to mention the gourmet ingredients: the careful selection of raw materials is evident. From dairy products to cured meats, to extra virgin olive oil, every ingredient is of the highest quality and showcases the local area. The setting is modern, refined, and has a great atmosphere. 10/05/2026: For my first visit, it disappointed my expectations. Poor pizza selection, nonexistent appetizers, and average thin-crust pizza. I recommend the gluten-free version (for celiacs), it's truly excellent. Quick service and reasonable prices.
