10/03/2026: A short, sad story! We're in Altamura... my wife is pregnant and we have an 8-year-old child. We've been out and about since early in the morning and can't wait to have dinner (we were so hungry) and go to a place we'd booked to rest. Due to health problems, my wife can't eat (pizzas, panzerotti, etc.). So I decide to do some research on grill restaurants and this place pops up, Thursday, March 6th. Google shows me 7:30 PM as the opening time. We show up at 7:30 PM, and... the dining room isn't set yet, vegetable boxes on the tables. The owner turns around in surprise, and I very kindly and politely ask if we can eat. In a very annoyed tone, he tells me we have to come back in an hour (8:30 PM). Undecided whether to wait somewhere else or find another solution, we decide to go to a bar to pass the time and then return. At 8:20 PM we return and... surprise! People are already seated for dinner (we could have arrived early too) and there's no room for us! Everything's booked!!! My compliments!!! From 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the gentleman fills the place!!! During the week, on a Thursday!!! (The government will be happy.) My impression? My accent is Salento... And he thought it was our last chance to eat! But instead, my dear! Luckily there WAS NO TABLE in your place... because we discovered a fantastic place where we ate like GOD and were treated wonderfully and pampered! Not to mention the price (which doesn't matter to me if I eat well). Best regards! And see you never again! I hope your place is always full and that there's never any table! That way people go eat elsewhere 😉

25/01/2026: There was a hair stuck in the meat, which turned out to be mediocre. The service was slow and at times nonexistent. The menu price was €29, not €22 as advertised on Instagram (the torcinelli were missing, which they said should be ordered separately). And to make matters worse, the cashier looked at us with a disgusted expression and said, "How poor!" when he saw we'd only ordered two bottles of water. Totally unmet expectations. If this is their idea of ​​a restaurant, I'm giving it a resounding no. I won't be returning!

22/12/2025: Delicious fried calamari and shrimp, served by really friendly staff. It's a tiny place, but very busy.

11/12/2025: Good street food spot. Our favorite was definitely the octopus salad. Be careful at operating hours, they close when the fish (which they said is fresh) is finished. Take into account that you may have to wait when it is crowded.

20/12/2025: Terrible aperitif, overpriced. The food was poor and lacking variety. The waiter, however, was very helpful and kind. It's a shame about the quality.

29/03/2026: I was there last night, everything was perfect. Amazing pub, one of the best in Bari. Top service, hundreds of top-notch beers. The burgers and piadinas are from another planet. Recommended.

20/12/2025: It's not our first time here, but I think it will be our last. The management seems to only push the most expensive products: out of four wines offered, the only one available was the most expensive at €25. We ordered it, and it was the only good thing we ordered. We asked for something to snack on, a crostone, but they offered us a scrocchiarella (also the most expensive) for €15: three very salty bruschettas with dried tomatoes and olives, disproportionate to the other offerings. In the end, they offered us three tiramisu, and when I refused, the waitress insisted, demanding an explanation. I shouldn't have to justify myself for what I don't order, especially given the lackluster quality-price ratio. It's a shame, because the location and atmosphere are beautiful!

24/01/2026: YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! Bar Gavriel was a real discovery for me! Finally, a café that offers vegan and lactose-free desserts, along with plenty of options for those with intolerances or dietary restrictions. The variety is incredible, you're truly spoiled for choice, and everything is delicious! I was pleasantly surprised, as it's rare to find a place so attentive and well-stocked. Well done, I'll definitely be back!

19/02/2026: I visited this restaurant on February 18, 2026, to order a takeout box for €50.00, around 7:50 PM. The first employee who greeted us told us the wait was approximately 15-20 minutes. I accepted and asked them to kindly prepare as soon as possible, as my car's ticket was expiring soon. He then turned to a colleague, who, for some mysterious reason, addressed me in an arrogant and disrespectful tone, informing me that the wait would be at least half an hour. At that point, I refused the new wait time, which also contradicted what I had been previously informed of, and left the restaurant. Dear Sirs, you must show discipline, good manners, and RESPECT towards the customers who choose you. Furthermore, I had addressed you with courtesy and kindness, qualities that were completely lacking in the employee who confronted us in a snarky and arrogant manner. Never again!

12/02/2026: Practically poisoned with raw fish, terrible quality... high price.

06/02/2026: Great place! The house antipasti was excellent!! They kept bringing out plate after plate of food, and everything was delicious!! They also put together a spectacular charcuterie and cheese board for us. The service was top-notch. Highly recommended!!

15/01/2026: A quaint place...the rooms are small but well-appointed...they're located inside a trullo. The owner is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The staff were very attentive despite the place being full. Well done.

03/01/2026: We went to this restaurant in Alberobello for dinner on December 31st and had a wonderful meal. I recommend it to everyone. The restaurant is warm and typical of the area, and it's very nice even in the summer, with a terrace where you can eat and free parking near the restaurant.
