05/05/2026: A truly quaint place near Piazza Mercantile in Bari Vecchia. We couldn't make a reservation, but we decided to show up anyway and wait. The owner was really kind and advised us on the wait time, which turned out to be even shorter than he'd estimated. The atmosphere was informal and convivial. We started by sharing some appetizers (olives and toasted fava beans, but they have many others). I personally had bacon rolls with caiocavallo cheese, baked in a terracotta dish (excellent), accompanied by focaccia barese. For my main course, I opted for rice, potatoes, and mussels (my first time trying it), which I found truly delicious. Generous portions and a reasonable price.

06/12/2025: A lovely pub, with both indoor and outdoor (covered) seating, and nearby parking (it overlooks a small square). The food is excellent; the only flaw (but I can't blame them for that) is that they don't offer any gluten-free options (though, since we brought our own, they were happy to prepare it with care and attention). They offer a wide variety of food (the burgers and amazing fries are especially recommended) and drinks. They can also host birthday parties. Reasonable prices. I recommend it!

04/04/2026: The place is spotless and meticulously maintained. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, making you feel right at home. The restaurant is a real highlight: the food is excellent, incredibly fresh, and truly delicious. Special kudos to the kitchen staff, who are simply fantastic! The prices are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend this property to everyone: the location is central and very convenient as a base for exploring Puglia on day trips. We'll definitely be back!

20/03/2026: It was the first time I went to this café this morning, with my mother, almost by chance. Not only was the girl who served us incredibly kind and friendly, but the coffee was also truly delicious and creamy, not watery like it often is elsewhere. You can tell it's prepared with care and attention, and the attitude of the employees really makes a difference in the overall experience. My mother and I left feeling very satisfied, with smiles on our faces. As soon as we left, my mother said, "I haven't had coffee this good in a long time, and she was really nice and sweet." If I were to ever be in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

31/10/2025: Our first coffee in Bari! A very friendly cafeteria serving all kinds of coffee. We particularly enjoyed the caffè freddo. The welcome was warm and the people here are really friendly.

12/09/2025: This is a little hidden local gem. Gioti is one of those rare places that feels truly authentic. Don’t expect frills here, it is far from polished or glam, just real life unfolding around a great cup of coffee. Their espressino freddo is extra special, it is a cold coffee Frappuccino (nicer) topped with granita di caffè, it’s the kind of treat that makes you enjoy the moment. The lady who runs the place is kind, makes you feel instantly at home. Vibe wise : expect people chatting loudly, coming and going, the rhythm of the neighbourhood in full swing. If you are in the area this is definitely worth a try.

05/12/2025: The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the owners are known for their warmth and friendliness. A key detail: the decaf is considered by many to be the best in the entire city of Bari. A bar that leaves a decidedly positive impression on anyone who stops by, even just for a quick coffee.
