Amazing experience in Bari. A restaurant in a secluded passage, perfect for a romantic night. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there and ordered a tasting experience. Every dish was fantastic! Huge thanks to the owner Rino for the hospitality. Turned out he shared birthday with my husband, which was a pleasant surprise!

We tried this restaurant based on recommendations on Google. I have to say it was a real experience, but not a positive one. We arrived when they just opened at 7 pm and got a table quickly inside the air-conditioned restaurant. They had technical problems with the Wi-Fi network to find the digital menu, it was also not possible with the Mobile Data network due to brick walls. We got the menu on paper, but this was in Italian. We ordered a cured meat platter with toasted bread, this was very good. After this we ordered 2 recommended dishes in the restaurant, 1 potato/rice with mussels and slow-cooked veal. Maybe it was us who did not understand the concept in the restaurant in relation to side dishes or carbohydrates with the food or we in the Nordic countries are used to getting everything on one plate. But it was an experience that left us hungry after the visit where we had to find a pizza place after the visit. It is recommended to read through the menu carefully if you are considering visiting, all dishes are quite plain.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening with a reservation for a group of friends from various Italian cities. Let's start with the positives: the food is good quality and the value for money is truly excellent. The terrines in particular were excellent, and overall we enjoyed most of the dishes served. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by some organizational issues. The menu was accessible via QR code, but it didn't work on several phones at our table. When we reported the issue, the response was rather hasty, attributing the malfunction exclusively to our devices. Furthermore, two people in the group were late having just landed. To avoid slowing down the service, we ordered for them as well, but it was pointed out to us that it would have been preferable for everyone to arrive together. During dinner, several dishes we had already ordered were forgotten (two dishes of potatoes and mussels and an eggplant parmigiana). After reporting it several times, the dishes were prepared and served, but they clearly appeared to have been prepared later than the rest of the dinner. The aspect that left us most perplexed, however, was the approach of one of the waitresses, whom we perceived as unfriendly and unhelpful in addressing the issues that arose during the evening. We fully understand the difficulties and stress that can characterize service during the busiest periods of the season, but we believe that hospitality and customer service remain fundamental elements of the experience. Overall, a restaurant with good cuisine and fair prices, but where greater attention to service and customer care would contribute to a decidedly more enjoyable experience.

Very tasty!!! My boyfriend and I opted for the traditional menu, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. The food tasted genuinely authentic, and we felt like we were experiencing real Italian cuisine. Everything was delicious, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommended!
