10/06/2025: Good quality of food, welcome reinforced aperitif. The waiter was very polite, courteous and also nice. Having placed, right in the center, a gazebo made with plants, even if fake, with nice bunches of grapes that come down from above, is an appreciated idea. To return!

04/06/2025: We went yesterday for a quick aperitif with a friend. We had two medium draft beers. They recommended we have an aperitif. I didn't have anything. My friend accepted. A plate arrived with two squares of focaccia (days old), an empty sandwich and a small plate with cold cuts and 4 triangles of firmaggi. The quality of the cold cuts and cheeses was mediocre. The absurd thing was the price. 33 euros. 33 euros for two beers and an insufficient and poor (in quality and quantity) small plate of cold cuts and cheeses. I don't usually write reviews and we left direct feedback to the owner who replied "we can't please everyone..." true. But that way everyone goes away... I was sorry.

04/06/2025: Bad experience, we wanted to have breakfast with a typical focaccia because it was our first time in Bari and we wanted to try a typical food. We went in and asked if they had focaccia and if they had it with tomato. The lady who was at the counter answered impatiently because we asked in which ways they had focaccia since, I emphasize, they were not on display and we did not know the flavors available. The lady answered impatiently and with an ironic laugh, "if you asked me about focaccia you know what it is." A truly out of place comment because we were not asking how it is made but what flavors they had (oil, tomato, olives, etc..) we arrived 10 minutes ago in the city and in each place the focaccia has different flavors and can be offered in different ways. We left in a polite manner but without consuming anything given the unprofessional and rude impact with which we were welcomed.

26/05/2025: terrible experience, I used to go there often but after the last one I will never set foot there again. you pay for a service that you don't have because they make you bring the tray since it's hard to walk two steps to the staff. (most of the time completely absent). The last time I went the lady even allowed herself to answer me with "keep calm, I'm not playing" just because I had asked her with all the kindness in the world "excuse me, can I pay for your coffee?" . another embarrassing event dates back to a few days ago, in which the lady told me with all the arrogance in the world "wait while I make you the coffee but you take it to your friends" as if she had just hired me in her bar. not to mention all the huffing and puffing she makes when I have to pay with the card (in 2025). I strongly advise against even just entering this place. I would advise the lady at the bar to use a certain vocabulary with people who are her customers and especially people she doesn't know, avoiding colloquial terms. (offensive)

19/09/2025: Nice bar full of young people with delicious croissants. The guys at Bar Manuel are truly great bartenders.

15/08/2025: We asked for a sweet prosecco and they brought us a freshly bought supermarket prosecco. It was empty, and we waited 25-30 minutes for five drinks. The tables were very dirty and the price was a bit too high, but at least the gin and tonic was good.

15/08/2025: They are deceiving tourists, the menu says chicken nuggets cost 3 euros, I asked for them to be made with fries, I only got nuggets and they charged me 5 euros

15/08/2025: They cheat tourists, they turn on the idiots and ask for €5 just for chicken nuggets, even though the menu says €3 with fries and salad, it's pathetic :))

08/08/2025: It seemed like a friendly place with friendly staff until the bill came... €15.50 for three empty croissants and three cappuccinos. The price for tourists is increased, crazy.

28/05/2025: Too bad I can't give 0 Indescribable location with unpleasant, rude and very impolite staff. Coffee €1.50 and you have to ask for a receipt because they don't do it. Bad presentation for the city. It's 2025 and they don't even have a vegetable milk 😱 I would like to remind the owner that without tourists they can close.

04/10/2025: We arrived at 9:00 PM, ordered at 9:35 PM, and it's 11:01 PM and we're still sitting waiting, having received nothing. No communication from the staff, no apologies, total disorganization. Unacceptable. It's not a question of patience: it's disrespectful to customers. Highly discouraged. Run away while you can.

04/10/2025: I arrived at 9:00 PM, the time of my reservation, and ordered at 9:30 PM... It's 11:10 PM and I'm still waiting for my pizza... A disgrace. Next time I'll order takeout... The pizzas arrive earlier... Never again...

09/05/2025: We went on the opening night, we paid a lot for what we ordered, a disappointment

30/03/2025: I walked in at 9:00 PM with enthusiasm...but it faded after 40 minutes waiting for my order. First of all, the place wasn't busy. They'd do well to call "nightmare kitchens" to fix the situation. It's a shame; in the '90s it was a hotbed of entertainment, now it's a nursing home. At 11:45 PM, my ordered sandwich hadn't arrived.

27/10/2025: Abandon all hope, you who enter. It's a shame because the food was at least edible and there was a shred of will in the intentions of the staff who work there, but unfortunately they lack the basics to manage a restaurant business. Total disorganization, slow service and excessively long waiting times, especially considering a menu with very little choice. I'm sorry to say it, but they need to change jobs if they think they can manage a restaurant like this. In any case, I wish them well. 🤞🏻

13/10/2025: Delicious panna cotta and caffe leccese very nice place and very convienent right next to the train station and the staff are very helpful and firendly

03/09/2025: I spent a terrible 15 minutes and made a bad impression on a dear friend I invited to this place for a chat, a drink, and a quick chat. As soon as we arrived, we asked the waiter for a bottled beer (he told us there was no draft beer), a non-alcoholic drink, and a trio of drinks. We had to insist because he wanted to force us to buy a sandwich we didn't want. We were served a glass of beer (if the beer is bottled, bring the bottle I asked for and open it in front of me), but we glossed over that. After 10 minutes, our conversation was interrupted by the bill. After another 2 minutes, he came back and interrupted us again to ask for payment. I asked to pay by card, and he told me to come to the register. I asked if I could finish speaking or if I had to leave immediately, and he said, "No, I have to leave immediately." Perplexed, I got up with the intention of going to pay, then returned to the table, where he took away our half-finished drinks. At that point, I asked him why he was rushing us, and he told me he wasn't rushing us. At that point, I went to pay. Returning to the table, and seeing my friend also irritated and white, I decided to leave without even finishing our drinks. Don't let the elegant location fool you, because otherwise, there's nothing elegant about it... quite the opposite!

20/10/2025: We stopped by with our children for a quick coffee, but the man told us that making just two coffees wasn’t worth it for him. Very disappointing experience — not a welcoming place for families.

17/10/2025: The bar was empty and we were asked to leave, as the owner believed we had ordered too few coffees.
