07/01/2025: The quality of the fish was very low, I can say that it was inedible, the fried squid had such a dark color that it suggested a very used frying oil. The meat dishes such as the grill, however, were very good, except that we had booked a fish menu, the meat dishes were only to replace the fish ones.

29/12/2024: After many years we returned in the company of friends, the last time I celebrated my birthday: disappointing, poor quality food, cold, gloomy and poorly lit environment from what I remember, I promised myself never to set foot there again.. .then with some friends we decided to come and eat here tonight, 12.28.2024 because there are rumors that the pizzas are spectacular, and I'll tell you: THEY ACTUALLY ARE!! I had to change my mind about this pizzeria, I was pleasantly surprised 😍 then one of my friends said that the management had changed over the years, so I came when the old one was there... As for the bill, you should know that for two pizzas, two drinks + cover charge we spent around €22 each...€109 and there were 10 of us, including fries and potato croquettes...we will happily return again In the meantime I'll spread the word!! 24/10/2024: I hosted 13 colleagues from all over the world here for a company workshop. The Monun staff went above and beyond the call of duty: they even helped me organize a conference room, taxis and restaurants. The hotel is located in the historic center of Grottaglie, right next door is the Episcopio Castle and the ceramics museum. The property is wonderful (speaks for itself), the rooms spotless, the beds very very comfortable. But the attention of the staff is the real gem! Special thanks to Mauro, Rita and Nadia for following me every step of the way. I will definitely return!

13/12/2024: Siamo una famiglia di Roma, ma di origine napoletana di cognome faccio “Esposito”, quindi di buona forchetta. Dopo una meravigliosa escursione in questo paese dalla grande cultura e dal fascino unico ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante e abbiamo passato 3 ore in allegria e dalla bontà culinaria di livello unico; piatti e portate abbondanti e dal sapore meraviglioso, prodotti freschi. I gestori del ristorante con cui siamo rimasti in amicizia sono stati fantastici e gentili con cui ci rivedremo per una prossima volta ovvero a Natale ! Bravi.

10/11/2024: A discovery! Well received by Alessio who speaks French and advises us. Even our dog Pipa is welcomed with all honors. Indeed the glasses of wine are well served! The kitchen: that’s the discovery. As main dishes for one Paglia e fieno con polpa di granchio, and for me, Tagliata di manzo. Cuisine deliberately chosen locally. Great ! Go for it! We remain at very reasonable prices for our 20-day traveling trip in the south.

02/01/2025: penultimo giorno dell'anno, abbiamo pranzato in questo piccolo locale che ha come prerogativa la cucina espressa di mare: un solo primo, quello del giorno poi il pescato e la pescheria segnano in menù. Ottimo fin qui tutto ok , posti a sedere meno di 20 tra dentro e fuori, cucina a vista ma una sola persona ed un aiuto non possono bastare per 8/10 commensali senza che nessuno sia espressamente dedicato ai clienti nel servire ( vabbè siamo arrivati all'apertura) ma tre quattro tavoli iniziano ad essere impegnativi ed attendere 49 minuti un piatto di crudo scampetti e gamberi rossi (sostituiti con mazzancolle ) è un pò troppo. Per il resto buone idee, piatti adeguati al tipo di cucina che predilige e mette al primo posto la materia prima. Conto buono ( salvo la sostituzione gambero rosso mazzancolqa non considerata) piccolo consiglio: non fatevi dare il posto vicino alla porta della toilette la vostra schiena sfiora la porta ogni volta che un commensale ci si reca.
