I've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and today I was finally able to make this wish come true. The dishes are traditional but also revisited, excellently prepared and served. The mixed appetizer, the cigars with ricotta, truffle and cardoncelli, the fusilloni with artichokes and the sliced meat are very tasty. The environment is rustic and characteristic, the outside is very welcoming. I recommend booking well in advance.

It's really a shame that in such a beautiful place I ate such tasteless dishes! I remember being there a long time ago and appreciating the cuisine. After a very tasty amuse-bouche, disappointment arrived! Paccheri with wild boar as dull as a gloomy day and stewed tripe with ectoplasmic slices of tripe in a sea of potatoes with an insignificant sauce, a bland dessert. Luckily we chose a great bottle of wine to lift our spirits! Too bad again, I will miss the place, but not the chef!

Il ristorante Il Cortiletto lo conosco ormai da qualche anno. Si trova in una frazione piccolissima di Fasano, Speziale.
Anche se ha tavoli all'interno la vera bellezza ce l'ha nei tavoli situati in questo cortiletto, bellissimo, che riesce con la sua atmosfera a farti sentire al 100 per cento in Puglia.
Il menù si concentra su piatti della tradizione pugliese con una prevalenza di carne.
Il gusto è, a mio avviso, deciso e saporito.
Personale attento e cordiale, conto giusto.

Having been turned away when we attempted to book a table for supper in September, we succeeded to book for a lunch in October. I am glad we did. It's a slightly odd place in a rather anonymous village and the menu offers pretty standard dishes. However, the cooking is excellent and the portions generous. The ambience is slightly quirky - modern chic in a pleasant old building - but clearly the reputation of the restaurant is developing rapidly. Let's hope that rising status will not lead to diminishing standards.

Durante le mie vacanze estive ho visitato due volte per cena il ristorante e, complessivamente, le esperienze sono state piacevoli. Il cibo era di buona qualità, e il servizio adeguato. Tuttavia, nell'ultima esperienza, ho notato alcuni attriti durante il servizio, probabilmente dovuti a difficoltà di comunicazione in cucina. Spero che riescano a migliorare questo aspetto per garantire una continuità nella qualità complessiva dell'esperienza.
