08/06/2025: We stayed at the Masseria for a week. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Giulia and Ferdinando are warm and attentive hosts. The room was clean and quiet. A highlight was the food. The breakfast was delicious; nothing was missing. We also ate dinner there every day. It was delicious and always fresh and locally sourced. A wonderful stay! Highly recommended.

04/05/2025: È appena terminato il nostro soggiorno alla Masseria Lacco e non posso non recensire più che positivamente la nostra breve vacanza ospiti di questa fantastica Masseria. La location, il cibo, l'accoglienza sempre gioiosa dei proprietari e, soprattutto, il grande amore per gli animali. Una menzione a parte merita il gustosissimo pasticciotto della signora Giulia! Noi ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Da tornare assolutamente e da consigliare a chi vuole passare una vacanza da ricordare.

22/09/2025: Tourists should avoid this place; there are much nicer cafes nearby. The cashier looked like he needed to poop or like a family member had died. If he's the owner of this cafe, it's a waste of time and nothing will change. If he's just an employee, the owner should offer him an internship. Service 0, food good.

19/10/2025: We had lunch here one Sunday by chance. I'd say it was an incredible surprise!! The place is welcoming and clean, the staff is friendly, fast, and efficient, always attentive to the needs of their guests. The food is excellent, with generous portions and plenty of flavor. They repeatedly offered us seconds of many dishes. The dishes were typical Apulian fare, well-cooked, and made us feel right at home due to the simplicity of the preparation and the authenticity of the food. The price was absolutely competitive considering the quantity and quality of the lunch offered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

29/08/2025: We frequent this restaurant every year when we go down, and it's always a sure sign of our favorite in the Manfredonia-Mattinata area. Excellent food and wine, very friendly staff, and the owner is always present among the tables to explain the menu and suggest the daily specials, including fresh fish, and the matching wines. I want everything seafood, plated, and raw seafood, two of our favorites. The negative reviews are tainted by the customers' poor taste or a lack of understanding that quality and research come at a price.

22/10/2025: I've been going there for years now and the local fish they serve is always fresh, and there hasn't been a single time I've had a bad meal. In my opinion, it's the best in Gallipoli for the quality of the food, the hospitality from Artur, who is very kind and takes care of his customers, the sea view is truly stunning and what more can I say? Try it and believe it.

22/10/2025: Very welcoming, we had a great time, we go very often and the fish has always been fresh, everything was good, I highly recommend going there and we will undoubtedly return again.

25/08/2025: We found it somewhat by chance while on vacation in Cagnano Varano during the week of August 15th 2025, and we returned a second time before returning home. The pizzas, paposce, grilled vegetables, and baked cacio cheese were delicious! The service was attentive, welcoming, and cheerful. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Puglia! 23/08/2025: The pizza of a lifetime!!!!! When my boyfriend and I crave a good pizza, our first thought is this wonderful place, L'Ammiraglio. Exceptional staff: fast, helpful, extremely kind, quality is not to be taken for granted, in fact... practically perfection. In addition to the pizza and paposcia, which I dare say are amazing, the waiters and the pizza chef always have a smile on their face, even when the place is packed. They always manage to cheer you up despite having so many things to do. As far as I'm concerned, a wonderful place, the best. If you have the chance, stop by, you won't regret it. One of the few places that in August (when you can't understand anything) still treats you with kid gloves. Well done, keep it up!!!! (We love L'Ammiraglio and the Americana, not to mention the Bronte, delicious!!!) ❤️❤️

28/09/2025: Unfortunately, despite many positive expectations, we were a bit disappointed. Aperitif Very minimalist: a few pieces of focaccia (perhaps one per person), some pettolina, and tempura eggplant and zucchini (a bit salty). To drink, a glass of prosecco or fruit juice per person for those who don't consume alcohol. Perhaps a non-alcoholic cocktail would have been better. Also, a second serving of drinks would have been much appreciated. Appetizers The so-called frisella crumble was actually just crumbled frisella—a crumble is something else entirely. The seafood appetizer called for prawns, but (I could be wrong) it looked like Argentinean shrimp. Perhaps a peeled, tempura-cooked shrimp would have paired better. First Courses The seafood first course had flavors that, in my opinion, weren't perfectly balanced, while the meat-based first course was really good. Second course The veal fillet was well cooked, but a bit dry. A sauce would have certainly added flavor. Fruit and dessert The fruit consisted of half a slice of cantaloupe, half a slice of rock melon, and half a slice of pineapple—perhaps a little too minimalist. The cream millefeuille, on the other hand, was very good. Beautiful location
