27/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, without a reservation, one day during the Christmas holidays. We'd heard good things about it, and it deserved its reputation: we had excellent raw seafood (compliments to the accompanying sauces), a first course (tagliolini spunsale and anchovy colatura), a second course (sea bass with chard cream), and two desserts. Everything was delicious! It must be said: the price isn't cheap. The service was truly friendly, both to us and to our dog. I recommend it for a special occasion.

02/03/2026: A lovely surprise. I'm not from Lecce, but Rome. It's a beautiful place, with friendly and helpful staff and great attention to detail in both the food and the decor.

13/01/2026: A lovely little restaurant in a nice neighbourhood. There is a very large choice of pizzas, so it became difficult to even make a decision about what to choose, but the pizza and desert was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is definitely worth a visit if in the area.

12/01/2026: A historic restaurant. The pizza is good, even if it doesn't have a more refined "gourmet" variety with top-quality ingredients. I think some of the pizzas could be a little different. I emphasize the good service because a waiter—I don't remember his name now, but I know he's been working there for about 2 years—realized that they'd assigned a table for 4 and there were 6 of us, so he moved us as soon as a larger table became available. I give the owner Donato a 0 because while we were drinking limoncello, he asked us to hurry up because he had to seat 14 people and therefore served our table!!!! I won't go into further detail because the wait for the appetizers, if you will, was really long, and then we were kicked out. But no, I'm not.

14/03/2026: Business stay. The property is not new, though it has been pleasantly renovated and, above all, spotlessly clean. The common areas also smell nice. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a generously sized bathroom with a new shower. The hotel also features a very active conference center. The attentive management is evident. The breakfast is truly top-notch. Absolute value for money. Also worth considering for leisure travelers; it's reasonably priced, offers high-quality services, and is easy to get around the city, towns, or beaches.

30/12/2025: It's not pleasant to eat outside, even with the heat lamps on. It wasn't terrible, but it's not nice to dine with a jacket on. Pizza is amazing!!

28/12/2025: You know that ad that says, "Make Love with Flavor"? Well, that's exactly what happens here. Flavors blend together with different textures, taste and smell fully satisfied. The December 7th pizza might seem like a simple tuna and onion, but it's actually a true sensory masterpiece. Tuna fillets, caramelized onions, crunchy crumbles. This is just one example. You can choose from a variety of doughs. The desserts are no exception. Very unique. The place is full of atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. Reservations are required, with entry and exit times to be respected.

08/10/2025: I went three weeks ago (so I'd say it was still the height of summer) for a quick drink during aperitivo time. Nothing to complain about: good drink, reasonable price, stunning location with a sea view. Unfortunately, after just ten minutes, the adjacent bar—owned by the same owners—started blasting techno music at ridiculous volume. This inevitably negatively impacts the overall experience: it's hard to understand why those looking to relax by the sea should instead find themselves immersed in a Berlin hangar atmosphere.

09/02/2026: A truly pleasant Sunday. We were welcomed with kindness and extreme professionalism, and the typical food was well-prepared and truly delicious. Everything was perfect. Not only will we definitely be back, but I'd recommend it to everyone!!!

08/01/2026: Nice restaurant. Totally quaint and stuffy. Oh well. If that's your thing. The service was incredibly unfriendly, and after 20 minutes of no contact, we left. No waiter. No reaction. No clue. 🤷‍♀️

08/02/2026: Always happy to return, despite the years, the Giardino di Monsignore restaurant and beach club remain a guarantee of taste, elegance, and excellent value. A little more attention to customer service from the dining room staff would be welcome.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids.
