Very fair bill. 3 first courses, 1 second course, water, and coffee (€50). I recommend booking as it's very popular.

Chef Angelo offers simple cuisine that highlights the flavors of the ingredients. An experience worth repeating, and I highly recommend it.

05/01/2026: I don't know how it gets such high reviews! Orecchiette with turnip tops floating in the water, all you could taste was the anchovy! Grilled vegetables full of garlic and terrible caciocavallo podolico cheese. Not to mention the coffee, undrinkable! I couldn't digest the orecchiette and was sick all afternoon!! Nope!

29/11/2025: Even though it was freezing outside, the warmth inside enveloped us and warmed us. We were warmly welcomed by two very courteous and professional young waiters, Giovanni and Gianmarco, who guided us and advised us on our culinary choices, always answering our every question with a smile. The food was excellent and authentic. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Monte Sant'Angelo because everyone was friendly and helpful.

27/10/2025: This rotisserie is famous for its rustica with tomato, mozzarella, and béchamel sauce. They also make pizza by the slice, arancini, panzerotti, and focaccia with various flavors (such as gorgonzola and artichoke, fresh chicory, etc.), but my favorite is the freshly fried canapés! I highly recommend them!

09/02/2026: I dined at this restaurant, and as soon as we entered, the air was completely trashed. They sat us at a very cramped table, without adding an extra one, and instead packed us in close together. I was seated next to the entrance door due to the cramped space they'd placed us in, and as a result, I was exposed to the cold air from outside every time the door was opened slightly. The waiter, very rudely, began complaining about my criticisms and put a shutter in front of me, embarrassing me and not solving the problem. As for the service and atmosphere, I can only give a very low review. As for the food, the restaurant offers a fixed menu, selecting dishes for customers based on whether or not they eat a certain food item, which is appreciated. However, qualitatively, the food was generally good, though many dishes were lacking, either oily or cold, or in some cases of poor quality (like the canned tuna in pettole). The meat was good, but unfortunately, some pieces arrived completely raw (they couldn't be rare because the waiter had expressly stated that all meat had to be well done). However, I'll conclude by saying that what really disappointed me was the rudeness with which we were treated, especially my friend I mentioned earlier.

11/03/2026: Everything was excellent. I went to Pizzeria La Chianca and had a truly positive experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for a quiet evening with friends or family. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always attentive to their customers. The pizza is truly excellent: light dough, well-cooked, and quality ingredients make all the difference. You can taste the care and passion they put into their preparation. The service was also fast and organized. Overall, I definitely recommend this pizzeria to anyone who loves good pizza and wants to feel at home. I'll be back!

13/12/2025: Lived in Manfredonia for 5 years and hands down, this is my favorite gelato shop. Artiginale and high quality ingredients. Cherry is my favorite. Panettone here is also my favorite. Taking 2 pistachio panettones back to the states with me for Christmas. A must try for both!
