The generous appetizers and welcoming atmosphere pay homage to the old 17th-century olive oil mill, which has been perfectly transformed into a refined, clean restaurant. Last but not least, a special thanks goes to the Bitonto prodigy, Cosimo, who gave us the opportunity to discover his world and his well-cooked, flavorful, and very light pizzas. 10/06/2026: In the heart of the ancient city of Bitritto, we discovered a hidden gem. La Campagnola is a pizzeria located inside a former 17th-century olive oil mill. The location features ancient stone walls that lend the experience a relaxing atmosphere. The service from the entire staff is simply exceptional. The quality of the products is superb; I recommend the Slow Food cheese board and the Cinta Sienese pizza. Pizza chef Cosimo is a master of leavened products and will be able to recommend the best dishes for you, as will the entire staff. A fantastic experience; we will definitely be back.
