Great experience with La Ruota. We came with the legendary DJ Squalus from Fasano, who suggested we try it together. It was a tasty and fun dinner.

Used and guaranteed. Trattoria 2 minutes from the zoo. Authentic old-fashioned flavors, simple first courses that taste like grandma's. Friendly and fast service. Generous dishes. Very fair bill. 3 first courses, 1 second course, water, and coffee (€50). I recommend booking as it's very popular.

La Ruota Restaurant in Fasano is a true explosion of Apulian flavors! We had lunch at this trattoria, and overall the experience was very positive. The location is simple, rustic, and decidedly country: it almost feels like being at grandma's house. The atmosphere is informal and relaxing, and immediately puts you at ease. The staff was helpful and friendly, even if they were very busy during service. Despite this, customer service was never lacking. The food was truly delicious. We ordered roast meat (sausage and bombette) and lasagna. The meat, while different from the typical fare in the Martina Franca or Cistrano areas, was tender and very flavorful; only a couple of pieces would have required slightly longer cooking. The lasagna was excellent, with an authentic, homemade flavor; the only small complaint was the sauce, perhaps a little overcooked and a bit strong. Otherwise, we had a really good time and enjoyed a pleasant lunch. We also recommend the wood-fired pizza, which is definitely worth a try. Medium-low prices
