The menu offers excellent bourguignonne and fondue, accompanied by home-prepared side dishes. We tried both solutions and were impressed by their goodness and quantity Highly recommended!

25/02/2025: Returning from the sea we decide to stop at the restaurant for dinner: Sara and her collaborators welcome us, whose kindness and friendliness makes us immediately feel at ease. The place, neat and clean like few others, is welcoming. The food is cooked impeccably by Sara's sister: the spicy octopus I tasted was very tasty, accompanied by the sweet and sour purple cabbage... a real delight for the palate. A place to have a good meal with an excellent quality/price ratio.

07/02/2025: We stopped with a friend and found a family atmosphere (of two aunts) with EXCELLENT food. Furthermore, it was after 2pm but they had no problem serving us. Advised!

26/03/2025: I think it is mandatory to stop and eat at “Il Mangiameduse”! A very nice place with a Ristofastfood look for young go-getters, in the historic center of Mesagne, it serves fish-based dishes of the highest quality! There is something for everyone, from raw fish to hamburgers always based on excellent fish (hamburgers accompanied by chips so good they are addictive!), to sushi. The place is very popular, the internal room is small but still reserves some external tables with warming mushrooms. The service is excellent, kind, fast, attentive. I only have one piece of advice (i.e. a service announcement) for the owners, not a criticism (because you can only love this food restaurant, in fact I give it five stars): I would divide the service hours into two phases, that is, at 8:30 pm for the first shift, 10:00 pm for the second, because since we ate outside, because the entire inside is booked for 9:30 pm, during dinner and when leaving (around 10:00 pm) I noticed almost all the tables empty and this is not nice either for the owners (who could lose customers, who do not like eating outside in winter), or for us customers who, despite being very happy outside, in our case asked several times if a table had become free inside because it was a bit too windy outside.

18/04/2025: Nothing to complain about the quality of the food. In terms of price/quality ratio, absolutely not the best. Everything is fine. What I find unacceptable was the owner's choice to let some guests smoke inside the venue. Neglecting the other guests who obviously took this choice as an invitation to leave. Absolutely not recommended.

19/04/2025: Very nice and characteristic place, located in the historic center of San Giovanni Rotondo. The owner is very kind and you can immediately perceive that he loves his job. Even the girl who waits at the tables is very kind. All dishes are freshly prepared and I must say that in these days of stay in San Giovanni Rotondo, today I ate the best orecchiette with turnip greens. We also liked all the other dishes served very much. The portions are generous and the ingredients used are fresh and quality. The prices are excellent and paying 1 euro for water and 1 euro for a cover charge shows the honesty of the owner. I absolutely recommend trying this restaurant.

27/02/2025: Qualità media, assolutamente nulla di esaltante. Antipasto super striminzito in rapporto al prezzo, veramente esagerato per quantità misere. Primi senza infamia e senza lode. Nel complesso un'"osteria" con molta scena ma poca sostanza, prezzi esagerati soprattutto il coperto (2,5€). Ambiente poco accogliente, simpatia non pervenuta. ❌

21/02/2025: Ho pranzato qualche giorno fa in questa trattoria per la prima volta e devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta.Molto piccola e accogliente con un ambiente perfetto per rilassarsi e staccare un pò dalla quotidianetà frenetica.La qualità dei prodotti offerta è ottima,in particolar modo ho amato il piatto nonna tanto da portarmi ad acquistare presso la Dispensa altro locale dei proprietari delle polpette al sugo in boccaccio.Che dire ci tornerò sicuramente.
