Among all the places I’ve visited, this one was by far the biggest surprise. I went in with no expectations and left with the warm feeling of a truly local, homemade meal. “Shut up & eat” left us with big smiles and the satisfaction of discovering an exquisite hidden gem.

A truly quaint and traditional place, with attention to detail and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The prices are absolutely fair, especially considering the excellent quality of the ingredients and the generous portions: you eat well here and leave more than satisfied! The name "Zitto e Mangia" (Shut Up and Eat) isn't a coincidence: prepare to enjoy authentic, flavorful dishes without too many distractions... and if you finally get too full, just tell the owner you're full 😄 Jokes aside, this place is truly worth it. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic experience and delicious food. Stop by, you're unlikely to be disappointed!

An exceptional experience. The owner was incredibly friendly, the food was superb, and the flavors unforgettable. For two people, we enjoyed a 12-course menu plus grilled meat with bombette potatoes, dessert, water, wine, and coffee, all for €44. Many thanks again. Patricia

30/05/2026: Best meal we had in puglia, a local favorite we were lucky enough to experienced.
21/05/2026: tradition south Italian cuisine , orecchiette ragu, was delicious!pasta casio e pepe, veal diaphragm that was so hard and tasteless, we left it all…and the chicken was a dish we really liked. They didn’t not change us for the veal and were very nice and offered us 2 glasses of wine .

09/06/2026: By far the most popular of the many restaurants in the village, but not one I'd return to. The food was good but the ambience was very poor.
09/06/2026: Welcoming atmosphere both inside and out, competent and helpful staff. Excellent food made with quality ingredients. The raw fish dishes are top-notch, including the fried fish and roasted snapper, a nice interlude with raw vegetables. The wine list is well-stocked. On the Via Francigena yesterday for the second time.
