06/10/2024: This is one of the best ice creams we have tried in the Puglia region. They are distinguished not only by a wide selection of flavors, but also by excellent quality. 10/09/2024: I can only give 5 stars to the ice cream because it is undoubtedly the best in Monopoli. Natural and authentic flavors, not chemical like others. However the ice cream is really tiny. It could be a little more considering the price!! (3.50 for the small one). Furthermore, I don't understand why the place often closes well before the indicated time: several times I went by at 11pm and the place was already closed even though the indicated closing time is 11.30pm.

01/11/2024: Ristorante scoperto per caso, piatti ottimi curati con attenzione e prodotti di qualità. L’antipasto con i porcini crudi meritava tantissimo come pure l’uovo. Primi di buon livello, mentre i secondi piatti li assaggeremo la prossima volta. Ambiente familiare con servizio molto curato e puntuale. Davvero una bella scoperta da ripetere appena possibile.

09/11/2024: It took me a while since October 30th to review it but The Filippo Oste restaurant in Albaretto Torre is a truly special place, ideal for an unforgettable evening. The location is splendid, nestled in the hills of the Langhe, and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Their famous skewer is a real delight, prepared with care and passion, and a must try! I celebrated my birthday here, and his wife was incredibly attentive, treating me with kindness and helpfulness, even towards my food intolerances. It's rare to find a restaurant so thoughtful of its guests. Highly recommended for those looking for quality and an authentic experience.

06/11/2024: Perfect dinner, we really enjoyed every course. Piedmontese dishes but made special (for example, if it happens to you, take the dish of porcini mushrooms and peaches!!). Very kind staff, we went for dinner with the dogs in tow and not only did they serve us splendidly but they also took care to bring and then top up the dogs' water every now and then. Cost a little high but absolutely worth the dinner.

30/12/2024: Domenica sera a Trani in inverno, pochi ristoranti aperti, questi pochi sono turistici (mille piatti, menu in plurime lingue, adescatore all'ingresso), quindi la scelta cade su EraOra: locale accogliente, curato, menù con pochi piatti ricercati. Fino a qui le aspettative sono ottime. Il primo piatto ordinato é stato quello più deludente, le friselle erano quelle del supermercato, in puglia si trovano (o di possono cucinare a casa) friselle qualitativamente facilmente, qui ci hanno servito delle piccole due friselle che si trovano anche nei supermercati del Nord. In un locale così ricercato, mi aspetto una frisella più interessante. In entrées grissini, pane e un olio ottimo. I primi: -Troccoli con cozze e muggine: ottimo abbinamento, un po' meno l'esecuzione. Il piatto era salatissimo (ho visto anche altre recensioni che lo dicevano), la cozza era di buona qualità, ma stracotta. Il broccolo mi é sembrato comprato e non fatto nel ristorante, poco legato al condimento. -Ragù di polpo: buono, ma non squisito. -Frittura di calamari: presumibilmente fatta da loro partendo da pesce fresco, buona. Conclusioni: il locale prova ad essere un ristorante di alta cucina: piatti ricercati, porzioni piccole, prezzi alti, staff molto a modo, ma offre piatti qualitativamente imperfetti, che ti aspetti in un'osteria a modico prezzo. Lo staff era molto gentile, ma mi sono mancati dei sorrisi. Ci tornerei? Per adesso no, ma tra qualche anno volentieri, quando avranno deciso se abbassare i prezzi e diventare un'osteria, oppure alzare l'asticella realmente evitando scivoloni come quello della frisella.

Ho notato da subito che si trattava di una cucina attenta alla qualità della materia prima e della qualità....e così è stato, ovvero un pranzo sublime !!!! Complimenti 👏 👏 👏
