02/10/2025: Gelato paradise 😋 The taste made with a local cookies, can't write the dialet local name, but you can try if you ask about a flavor which taste cioccolate and cinemon , really good and unique.

30/09/2025: If you want excellent gelato or yogurt, this is the place! Everything is truly delicious. The place is very small, but there are benches outside where you can enjoy your gelato. It's also located just steps from Piazza Sant'Oronzo, practically in the center of Lecce!

11/09/2025: I wanted to say more... Welcoming atmosphere, reasonably fast service despite the crowd. Good pizza toppings, reasonable prices. Good beer selection... but €2.50 for a cover charge with paper napkins and placemats. There were five of us, so they charged me for six covers, and I had to point this out to get the refund. The pizza dough, when tasted on its own, wasn't particularly flavorful. Coffee is served without a saucer and a stick instead of a spoon. The waiter then passes you the cup by touching it with his hands, which I really didn't like. Parking is inadequate given the restaurant's capacity.

05/10/2025: Excellent fish restaurant with freshly caught fish, and friendly welcoming staff. Very reasonable prices given the high quality.

02/10/2025: This surprise restaurant in Lecce was outstanding beginning to end. Fabulous wine, outstanding pasta, and spectacular dessert! GO!

04/10/2025: First courses with octopus ragù, mussels, and clams, and tubetti with mussels were delicious! Fresh calamari slices with arugula and cherry tomatoes were incredibly tender, and the octopus on creamed potatoes was excellent. It's a shame the fried calamari was a bit tough, perhaps due to overcooking or the wrong oil temperature. Overall, everything was good.

30/09/2025: An emotional journey to experience! Located just steps from the Taranto seafront, the "Ristorantino" is truly charming and has great potential! The young owners, along with their friendly and well-trained staff, are very welcoming and make you feel at ease right away: ready to satisfy every guest's desire with class and passionately explain every single ingredient of their amazing cuisine! The dishes are crafted with such mastery and elegance that they will delight even the most discerning palates, thanks in part to the magnificent ingredients! A story to live, and relive! The prices are more than fair for this extraordinary experience! My sincere congratulations to all the staff!

13/10/2025: Family atmosphere, generous and very filling dishes, fast service and very friendly waiter. All the dishes were delicious and flavorful. What we particularly liked was that it was a real immersion in Italian cuisine. For 4 adults and 4 children it cost us less than €170. We found this more than reasonable. We highly recommend it.

The quality of the dishes served and the cocktails were top-notch. The service was professional, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Braceria da Matteo isn't worthy of 5 stars, it deserves MORE! I've been coming here every 2-3 years for 18 years, and it's never disappointed. The food is always excellent, the best quality meat, and it's always perfectly cooked! Everything was delicious! I recommend it to everyone—friends, family, boyfriends, and girlfriends—because it will never disappoint. The staff and owner are always professional, friendly, and cheerful.

26/09/2025: Let's start at the beginning. The tomato base tastes like tomatoes. You know, that sunny red fruit we use in salads, sauces, and more. Well, here it's really used. The crust is thin and perfectly cooked. The welcome from our lost French friends who don't speak a word of Italian was very pleasant. Two pizzas ready in ten minutes. Efficient and no fuss. All pizzas are under €10.
