13/04/2025: I celebrated my 50th birthday, usually in the village they serve you based on knowledge.. in my case even if Acquavivese but I'm not very popular, I have to congratulate all the staff, for their friendliness and seriousness.. everything was very good and exceeded the expectations of all the guests. I would like to point out that we ate more than well, nothing was missing at a more than honest price. What can I say to you guys, certainly on a next occasion, we will keep you in mind.😊

12/04/2025: Dish of inedible orecchiete, too salty, with uncooked pink shrimp. I told the waitress and the manager came to justify it by simply saying that it is the shrimp that are salty. No excuses, no commercial gesture…. Manager in bad faith, unfriendly. In addition you have to pay 2 euros per person for the service. Restaurant to avoid!!!!!

05/03/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale a pranzo con degli amici. Al momento dell'ordinazione abbiamo deciso di prendere un antipasto che, da indicazione del menù, era impostato per 4 persone. Una volta arrivato al tavolo ci siamo resi conto che era composto da una sola porzione. Troppa sproporzione fra prezzo e quantità in quanto ci siamo visti costretti a fare un'aggiunta al precedente ordine, in caso contrario non saremmo riusciti a dividere il tutto per 4. Il titolare o il gestore, che è venuto direttamente a prendere la comanda al nostro tavolo non è stato per niente in grado di consigliarci, al quanto schizzato, scorbutico e nervoso. Ha preso l'ordinazione molto, troppo frettolosamente...così come ci sono stati tolti i piatti prima di terminare di mangiare! Abbiamo pagato un occhio della testa nonostante non abbiamo preso né vino né bevande particolari! Per intenderci una "polpetta di baccalá" 16€ e un tris di bombette 21€. Sconsiglio vivamente! Penso che se il gestore continuerà a svolgere il suo ruolo questo posto non avrà lunga durata. A lui consiglierei invece di farsi almeno una vacanza l'anno per rilassarsi un po' e capire se questo è davvero il lavoro che fa per lui!

23/03/2025: Well located in the heart of the historic center, from the outside seat you can see the beautiful spire of Piazza Salandra. The place is very welcoming. Faustino is a fantastic host, easy-going and always available to satisfy the customer's requests (even the most bizarre). The dining room staff is courteous and prepared, a point of light is certainly Simone who, with his immense kindness, accompanies you in choosing the dishes. Note of merit for the refined quality of the products, I left my heart and taste buds on the fried courgette flowers, crazy good. The pizza is the best you can taste on site. High and crunchy crust, thin dough that remains dry underneath, so the pizza is digestible and tasty. Excellent balance between dough and seasoning. Excellent value for money. What more can I say? Pizzeria Paglialunga wins with flying colors.

18/11/2024: Delicious food in an attractive bistrot. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Original (Tiscan) dishes without pretension. Economic prices but optimal quality. Good vegan options but also chicken and meat. In short, highly recommended. And a nice surprise at the end 😉

10/02/2025: The pizza was really very good - great dough and perfectly selected ingredients. The atmosphere is also a plus, very pleasant and conducive to spending time. Unfortunately, the staff did not speak English, which could make communication difficult.

11/01/2025: Locale con posti all'aperto riscaldati con funghi, sistemazione da noi preferita (eravamo in 5). Abbiamo gustato diverse tipologie di tagliate di carne accompagnate da diverse tipologie di pizze, patatine e frittelline, innaffiate da birra Nastro Azzurro. Abbiamo terminato con diverse tipologie di gelati classici come tartufo affogato al Borsci e caffè. Qualità ottima e personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Da tornarci sicuramente.

07/02/2025: It's just a small bar but very welcoming. It's all good and made by them, from aperitifs to breakfast, not to mention the goodness of the fried panzerotto. If you are passing through I recommend it

15/04/2025: Upon arrival we were welcomed by Miss Sunshine, pff what a grump! luckily the room was nice. The next morning there was no hot water, so the shower was postponed until the evening, again no hot water. Since you have to walk 10 minutes to the reception, I called the main number, which was not in use, then the next one on the list and he hung up when he heard that it was about cold water. So no, really not recommended!

30/03/2025: I was looking for a quiet place near Altamura, and I found randomly the Masseria Chinunno website. I was so impressed by the beautiful surroundings that I decided to book a room. This place is magic. The area was wonderful, the room was great and the staff was amazingly helpful and kind. A simple breakfast is included, but you can have your lunch ( take away as well) or dinner on site if you need it. The quality of meals ,made with natural ingredients , is fantastic. If you like to relax, surrounded by a country nature and farm's animals, this is the right place;if you like to walk and discover the forest surrounding the B&B , that's the right place. Altamura town centre is just 10 minutes far by car and Matera just 25 minutes far as well. I recommend the Masseria 100%.
