13/04/2025: Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante per festeggiare la domenica delle palme, nulla da eccepire sempre il top. Il proprietario persona gentile e premurosa, così come tutto lo staff; cibo sempre di qualità. Posto che consiglio ad occhi chiusi. Complimenti continuate così. Alla prossima.

20/05/2025: Unfortunately we ordered a picanha very rare and medium rare: they arrived very cooked, bad so far, it can happen; the real problem was the bad smell that the meat gave off... we pointed it out because we left it all but we were still made to pay for it...

But a little inattentive is what happens at the end of the evening perhaps!? 08/04/2025: Cena di pesce perfettà, piatto di crudo eccezionale per qualità e freschezza. Primo piatto molto buono con presentazione molto curata. Per dessert un ottimo crem caramel che avrebbe meritato un caramello fatto in casa invece di un topping pronto.

22/05/2025: I must admit that I have never been to the Calvi restaurant and it was a truly pleasant discovery, a gastronomic experience that manages to combine elegance and simplicity with great balance. The cuisine is of the highest level, with attention to the smallest details both in the plating and in the flavors. Each dish tells a story of research and passion, thanks to excellent quality ingredients, fresh and carefully selected. The combinations are refined but never excessive, capable of enhancing the natural flavors without overloading them. The service is another strong point: friendly, present but never intrusive, with a staff always ready to recommend and explain with competence the dishes and the wines to pair. You feel pampered from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends. The environment manages to convey serenity, with an attention to detail that is also reflected in the furnishings and background music. Finally, the quality-price ratio is more than fair. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the mastery of the kitchen and the level of service, the bill is absolutely adequate and well balanced. In short, Calvi is a restaurant where you gladly return: to eat well, relax and feel welcomed. A round of applause to Donato for his passion. Highly recommended.

It’s exactly what happens when you enter their home: they open the doors to their home, welcome you with a smile and treat you like family. This is Calvi: warmth, passion, care. It’s one of those places where you don’t just go to eat well — even if, trust me, you eat like a god — but to live a moment. The place is elegant and welcoming, with large and comfortable spaces. But my favorite corner is near the pass, because from there I can see everything. The kitchen is completely open, a real theater where the show never stops. I could stay there for hours watching how they move, how they take care of every detail… and in fact, every now and then, my wife calls me to order! Chef Donato is young, but with an edge. He has a head, a heart and a lot of hunger (not just for cooking, but for growing): he studies, travels, puts himself to the test. He never stops. Angelica, on the other hand, is the sommelier you would always like to have at your table: brilliant, very friendly, knowledgeable. She reads inside you and can always recommend the right glass, even if you want to dare with a cocktail or a spirit. In the dining room there is also Domenica, sweet, smiling, who makes you feel immediately at ease. Their cuisine is lively, contemporary, but rooted in tradition. You can find meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, daily specials, new dishes every season... but always with a clear philosophy: seasonality, respect for the raw materials and zero waste. I have eaten some of the best dishes of my life at their place. And every time it is different, because the menu changes, the inspiration changes... but the quality never changes. And then there are the leavened products. Bread, focaccia, sandwiches, panettone, brioche: all made by them, with sourdough and selected flours. I often stop by just to get the freshly baked bread, because it is truly special. I close with desserts and ice creams… which are not just “good”. They are poetry. The ice creams are churned on the spot, the desserts are never banal. Calvi is not just any restaurant. It is a real experience, made of heart, technique, family and so much beauty. If you have the chance, go there. Let yourself be embraced.

01/01/2025: Pranzo del 1 Gen. non programmato. I titolari gentilissimi ci hanno accolto e coccolato all’interno graziosissimo locale, con a vista tutte le prelibatezze locali. Ottima carne alla griglia con i contorni del territorio, immancabile lo spumone e la piccola pasticceria secca. Da tornare!

28/04/2025: Da Peppe Zullo si va sempre sul sicuro. Abbiamo deciso di passare da lui la Pasqua e ci siamo fatti un’ora e mezza di auto per arrivarci + altrettanto per tornare a casa. Ma ne è valsa sicuramente la pena. Menu fisso ma tutto buonissimo, la parmigiana di borragine indimenticabile. Vino rosato delle sue cantine ottimo. Spero di tornarci presto, nonostante la distanza!

19/05/2025: This restaurant has been synonymous with professionalism, excellent food, and kindness of the staff for many years. Alessio, the owner, is dedicated to his work and it shows. All the staff are very welcoming for every need. We go there very often, we chose it to celebrate our son's communion and it exceeded our expectations, in every little detail. Our entire family was very satisfied, even relatives who come from out of town. I highly recommend eating here for the quality of the food, a very varied menu, some refined dishes, kindness of the staff, beautiful location.

19/05/2025: I celebrated a family event at Pink a couple of Sundays ago for lunch. Despite having about thirty guests and several events in the room at the same time, the restaurant did everything to accommodate my every request regarding the table and seating arrangements, to enhance the corner for photos with the cake and to best arrange the chosen decorations. The menu was super abundant and we had a great day. The size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff and the richness of the menu are definitely a strong point of the restaurant.
