Pizzeria Desiderium is a rare gem yet to be discovered, located near the center of Lecce. Parking is plentiful, especially on the adjacent Via De Castris. The staff immediately greets you with a warm and attentive smile, a sign of their deep dedication to their customers, who can relax and enjoy a pleasant evening of regal treatment. The restaurant was opened only a few months ago and already demonstrates expertise and tradition in preparing dishes from our beloved Salento region, with bold flavors that other establishments can't always match. Prices are very fair, and if properly supported, the pizzeria will ensure exceptional quality well into the future. Special praise goes to the owners, who are warm and passionate about using only the finest ingredients, especially their pizza dough, including an excellent 5-grain version. Bravo!

The new management is truly a hit! We tried the fried food, pizza, and house dessert and were very pleased. The pizza was well-made, the fried food was tasty, and the dessert was a great finish. The owners are kind and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. We'll be happy to return. Highly recommended!
