21/03/2026: The savory crepes were very good, the meatballs as an appetizer were also excellent, and there was a wide selection of drinks. Highly recommended!

20/03/2026: What has happened to southern Italian hospitality? I sat down, ordered a drink in the evening, and the waiter asked innocently, "do you want olives with it", and even if I wasn't in need of it, I said yes because it sounded a typical "aperitivo" snack offered by house as usually happens in Italy. When I went to pay, they tried to charge extra money for the olives!

26/01/2026: OK, the best sushi spot in Sarasota, FL is no more... see my prior review history for location, sadly it's gone forever. Now, moving up a slot, is Utamaro Sushi Bar located downtown Sarasota. Been going here for years, always exceptional, now 100% the go to place in SRQ for sushi. Note this review is for take-out, holiday party at the office, everyone but the CEO loves sushi, but he stepped up and tried Yellow Tail, LOL, and loved the cooked orders. You won't be disappointed, please GO. Check out this spread of delish photos! Here we have: SUSHI = Hamachi, Bluefin, Uni, Sake, Scallop, Fatty Tuna. The only thing missing was Saba... I requested but somehow the request was denied LOL by ordering party (private joke). ROLLS = Manhattan, Flamingo, Seakosho, Dragon, Emperor, Spicy Tuna, Bang-Bang, Mexican Roll, Triple Tail, Eel, California.

14/01/2026: We have always had a go to sushi spot. But, tonight we wanted something closer to home. Utamaro exceeded our expectations! Quite possibly the freshest, best quality sushi we have had. Will be our new sushi spot! Thanks for providing such quality and service.

15/02/2026: We stopped for a quick sandwich, as we often do, but ultimately opted for the restaurant. Sandwiches are an institution here, but the restaurant is also excellent! I recommend the grilled calamari, delicious. Congratulations, and see you next time.

28/02/2026: I'm still sitting here at the table, completely satisfied with my lunch at La Pignata. Friendly service, excellent cuisine, and good music. A relaxed atmosphere and attentive, smiling service, even accommodating requests for variations, like my amazing spaghetti with mussels in white sauce, with just 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes... exceptional! 😍 Thanks to all the staff, I'll take home so much pleasure!

06/01/2026: We went with a group of 26 friends to lunch at this delightful little restaurant in the heart of Otranto on January 3, 2026. We were welcomed by Mrs. Doriana with warmth and kindness. The food and price were excellent. I highly recommend it.

29/12/2025: We were with other pilgrims on the Camino dei Due Mari (Walk of the Two Seas). It was a fantastic little place! The food was truly delicious; the soup and melted cheese were exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly and the place was very traditional, with locally sourced produce and local wines. They also offer a tasting of 3 or 5 wines for a reasonable price! (€7 or €10) Highly recommended. It's centrally located, but not the usual tourist spot! I'd go back a thousand times! Thank you!

13/12/2025: We ate here in Locorotondo and were amazed by the quality and flavors. We chose the aperitif tasting for two and we received many different dishes, all delicious. Santina is a professional and welcoming mother who tries to explain all the dishes to you as best as possible. Everything was delicious and the location was beautiful. Highly recommended!!!

01/11/2025: This establishment offers a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Santina welcomed us with a warm smile and infectious good humor. She offered us an assortment of local specialties, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We finished with a delicious iced coffee with almond milk. The service was very friendly and prompt. The price was very reasonable for the excellent quality of the food.

15/02/2026: Just a few kilometers from Leuca, this truly top-notch grill restaurant offers premium meats and excellent ingredients, a quality that is reflected in every item on the menu. From fried meatballs to Apulian bombette in a variety of flavors, to grilled dishes featuring everything from tagliata to fillet steak, every choice never disappoints. Impeccable service and a fair price.

11/02/2026: Delicious meat. We've been to a grill in Alessano but we didn't like it. Here, however, we found truly quality! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

05/03/2026: I went for dinner during the week with friends and it was a wonderful surprise. The service was truly attentive, present but never intrusive. There's a truly peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy the evening without rushing. At the end of the dinner, we chatted with Stefano, who also took us to see the wine cellar: a place worth a visit, with an impressive selection of wines. It was more than just a dinner, it was a complete experience. We'll be back soon.

05/03/2026: We hadn't made a reservation for dinner at Botteghe Antiche, so a spot on the square wasn't an option. Inside, there was still room, and we had a view of the kitchen, which is always a nice sight. The dishes were delicious. We found the atmosphere a bit lacking; the service was friendly, but a bit distant.

01/01/2026: I had dinner on New Year's Eve with my family, we found the welcome and food top notch, I really appreciated the attention given to my 3-year-old daughter for whom the owner prepared an excellent "tailor-made" dinner, excellent service, excellent food and prices in line, all in a very nice place. I recommend it.

01/12/2025: The highlight of this place is the good coffee; those are the only two things going for it. The service is terrible; they make the wrong orders even when there aren't many customers, and they repeatedly come to the table for no reason, interrupting other diners. They also force customers to write Google reviews with them to get 5 stars, under the pretext of entering a contest.
