11/08/2025: We dined four courses of a la carte, received fantastic service, very accommodating treatment of our 6yo son, and excellent wines. My favorite two dishes was the raw red prawns in sea urchin sauce and the tuna pasta in a seafood brodo with lemon. I hope the guide will consider awarding Quintessenza two stars next year.

29/07/2025: The best! We found it by accident, but it was a real gem! We ate delicious! 1 first course, 2 second courses, and a large bottle of water = 22 euros! As good as home! The owners are kind and warm! Thank you!!!

14/07/2025: I’m still sitting at the restaurant, enjoying a great playlist along with the hustle of the kitchen , this was not just a meal, it was a whole experience! We enjoyed every bite, from the lobster, strascinati, and Drunken Prawns - to the point we were wiping the sauce with the remaining bread! Mimmo was an excellent host, he made wonderful recommendations, and catered to our every need - even coming to the rescue when I spilled some sauce on my shirt! They even gave us a delightful complimentary dessert to end our meal! This was the first restaurant we tried in the Apulia region, and it will be very difficult to top it! We will definitely return!

The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to make guests feel at home. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, with a beautiful outdoor garden perfect for summer evenings. The cuisine is a triumph of flavors: each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and original combinations. A real must is the pici with shrimp, pistachio, and taleggio cheese: creamy, fragrant, and simply unforgettable! Highly recommended for those seeking quality, courtesy, and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

The Small Ristorante in San Cesario is a true gem: meat and fish dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using the freshest ingredients and impeccable presentation. The chef manages to combine tradition and creativity, surprising with every course. The service is attentive and friendly, the atmosphere elegant yet welcoming. The garden is also stunning, perfect for a peaceful dinner under the stars. Highly recommended for those seeking haute cuisine and special moments in the heart of Salento!

18/08/2025: This restaurant is run by a farm that grows spelt, so many dishes are made with spelt flour. On our evening, the menu was listed verbally, perhaps because it changes constantly. In short, if you want to choose from a wide range of menu options, this isn't the place for you. If, however, you like rustic-style restaurants and food, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended, and if you use TheFork, you get a 20% discount.

17/08/2025: We came here because we arrived in Putignano in the afternoon and there weren't many other restaurants open, but we were so glad we did. The service was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is known for its meals made with products from its own farm. The menu is based on what's still available. We had mutton stew, grilled pork, and pasta. All delicious. Accompanied by a delicious Primitivo (from a mug), also homemade. We chose four different desserts, all equally delicious. Highly recommended for a tasty and different meal.

31/07/2025: Siamo ritornati dopo 3 anni in questo bellissimo home restaurant e abbiamo ritrovato la stessa genuinità, bontà, gentilezza e semplicità della signora Luigina che con la sua cucina ci ha fatto ritrovare tutti i piatti della tradizione salentina. Tutto buonissimo e di ottima qualità. Ci siamo sentiti proprio a casa. La location è inoltre molto curata e suggestiva. Il prezzo è più che onesto, considerato il lavoro che sta dietro ad ogni singola preparazione e che il menù è interamente preparato da loro. Non so se torneremo in Salento l'anno prossimo, ma se così fosse sicuramente torneremo qui!

26/07/2025: A Casa Noscia è stata la nostra prima esperienza di Home Restaurant. Abbiamo scelto questo posto consigliato da un amico e abbiamo trascorso una serata perfetta in famiglia! La cena è stata deliziosa con tante portate abbondanti e con materie prime eccellenti lavorate con grande sapienza. L’atmosfera era calda e accogliente, le padrone di casa sono ospitali e molto gentili! Abbiamo potuto scegliere al momento della prenotazione tra menù di carne o di pesce e una volta scelto quello di pesce, ci sono state date le diverse opzioni di date in cui avremmo trovato il menù scelto. Il menù è fisso e costa 30€ a persona: comprende antipasti vari, primi e secondi, dolci, acqua, vino, caffè, amari e digestivi. Davvero una serata speciale!

09/08/2025: I rarely write reviews but thought Mint Cucina Fresca was a really lovely dining experience. Not only was the food and drink exceptional but the ambience and service was also very special. If you want to try something a little different from traditional Italian fare (which I also always enjoy) then I highly recommend!

06/08/2025: Sometimes you have to accept when the food isn't up to scratch, because silence is nobler than a negative review out of revenge. When something exceeds expectations, you have to say it loud and clear. Everything is very good in this restaurant. A very original decor that makes you want to come in, very refined cuisine, and service worthy of Michelin-starred restaurants. Honestly, nothing more to add. Oh yes, I'm going back a second time tonight to try the rest.

01/08/2025: It's one of my favorite places to eat excellent seafood with refined and unique flavors. Rocco, a gentleman, creates an engaging atmosphere...don't hesitate to come in! It's worth coming to Orta Nova...to taste Rocco's dishes!

31/07/2025: A gourmet experience, spectacular dishes, and incredibly fresh fish. Each course was meticulously crafted, with pairings that highlighted the dish without detracting from the flavor of the fish. Excellent wine and excellent service.

04/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance... the last free table for the three of us! The atmosphere was welcoming and refined, the staff friendly, attentive, and helpful (kudos to Silvia!) We had a simple but truly delicious aperitif. The appetizers and first courses were fantastic... it truly was a culinary experience, but with generous portions! Plus, it was truly excellent value for money! I highly recommend it!

06/08/2025: A modern restaurant just a few meters from the sea, the decor is in keeping with the surroundings and the maritime atmosphere. The food is small and reasonable for the price. The only two flaws: one of the pucce served was slightly raw inside, and the service was a bit cold.

21/07/2025: I spent a very pleasant evening at Phonogram, a refined restaurant with a charming atmosphere. It offers outdoor seating with a view of the Ugento square and cathedral, while being caressed by the Salento breeze and listening to good music. The cuisine is excellent, thanks to the carefully selected ingredients. The owner and staff are very friendly, welcoming customers with a smile and fulfilling requests promptly. Excellent service!

19/07/2025: During a pleasant evening in the heart of beautiful Ugento, we stopped at a restaurant located in a charming historic square, where time seems to have stood still and the atmosphere exudes an authenticity hard to find elsewhere. We began with a trio of appetizers, all carefully crafted with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors that reflect the local culinary tradition. Each course was a mini-taste journey, a clear sign of attentive and passionate cuisine. A special mention goes to the staff, truly kind and friendly, a typical Salento trait. The owner, in particular, was welcoming and helpful, and pampered us with a truly appreciated gesture: he offered us a homemade digestif, ending the evening on a genuine and warm note. An experience we highly recommend to anyone seeking fine cuisine, an authentic atmosphere, and sincere hospitality in the heart of Salento.

29/07/2025: Ristorantino in pieno centro storico. Molto accogliente, tranquillo, rilassante. Un menù con piatti tradizionali si, ma rivisitati, ma semplici, niente di travolgente, ma il contorno di zucchine e carciofi che ha accompagnato un filetto di ombrina era meraviglioso, più del pesce stesso. E Mi hanno passato sotto il naso dei primi che lasciavano una scia profumata, insomma. Una bella Esperienza. In sala un ragazzo preparato e gentile ( non è scontato!!). Insomma. Da ritornarci.
