15/06/2026: The location is simply stunning, in the heart of beautiful Trani. The veranda overlooking the castle is a gem worth the visit alone. Saverio, one of the hosts, was exceptional: he welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, and at the end of the meal, he kindly offered to take us on a tour of the restaurant. We had the pleasure of discovering the upper floor and the terrace, which I already imagine would be extraordinary on a summer evening and which will be the perfect setting for the second tasting menu, which we can't wait to try. Chef Stefano Di Gennaro's cuisine is a true celebration of Puglia and Trani traditions: local ingredients treated with respect, technique, and identity. It was a privilege to meet him in person and congratulate him directly. We will definitely be back.

04/06/2026: What started very strong ended up being a mediocre dinner. Not sure that Michelin got this one right… sea urchin pasta tasted overly fishy- my sea bass was burnt and overcooked and served with greens which tasted frozen. The deserts had an overly fragrance taste.

20/06/2026: Opera is a lovely restaurant with a warm intimate atmosphere, wonderful friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. We stopped here on our first night in Bari and would definitely come back again. Sea bass was grilled perfectly with a sweet side salad, steak strips with salad was tender and juicy, with a rich buttery sauce and mushrooms with creamy mash was hearty and filling. Despite language differences the staff were incredibly helpful and even surprised us with a birthday sparklers and rendition of "Tanti auguri a te", happy birthday, which made the evening even more special. 01/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Sgarra, and I have to say it was nothing short of sensational. The setting is extremely refined and elegant, but the surprising thing is that it never makes you feel wrong or out of place. The welcome is warm and they pamper you from start to finish, starting with the delicious welcome amuse-bouche. You can taste the passion and precision with which the dishes are prepared in every flavor. You taste each dish and it's natural to say, "Wow, what a blast!" For example: I'm not particularly fond of fish, yet the calamari as an appetizer was spectacular. The suckling pig was also wonderful, cooked and treated to perfection. My partner chose amberjack (for his main course) and was more than thrilled! The value for money is exceptional, especially considering the high quality of the cuisine. It's an experience I highly recommend and a place I would definitely return to with great pleasure.

The entire staff is very attentive to every detail, ensuring guests enjoy the food and feel comfortable in this restaurant. I will happily return to this place and will recommend it to others.

16/06/2026: I went here for dinner last night with my dad and my partner. I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Impeccable service, a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, and superb food, especially the raw fish. I highly recommend this restaurant.

15/05/2026: Lots of appearances, but little substance. Unfortunately, the meal was marred by the incessant barking of a dog, ignored by both the owners and the restaurant staff. It was almost impossible to speak, and the space was so small and stuffy that the only thing left to do was run away, as the poor dog would have wanted... Since it's incredibly expensive, it's not worth the risk.

20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre. The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.

31/05/2026: The Melanzane was wonderful. The sea bass carpaccio had a slight odor. The pasta was very good, but we couldn't eat the shrimp in it. Don't even try the Tiramisu. It's just espresso poured over biscuits and topped with cream. It was terrible.

01/07/2026: Trattoria/deli with a variety of excellent dishes. Generous portions and very affordable (we're in Martina Franca, and the prices are insane just a few hundred meters away). A family-friendly atmosphere, with friendly and helpful owners. It's a must-try! 😊

I chose this wonderful masseria as a dinner gift for my mother and her friends, won over by the photographs of the dishes, which already hinted at an authentic, carefully prepared cuisine deeply rooted in the local area. At the end of the evening, she called me. Her voice spoke for itself: she was happy. She immediately said, "You absolutely must leave a review, because a place like this deserves to be known." She told me about the welcome she received, the extraordinary kindness of the staff, and the family who runs the masseria with a passion evident in every detail. Impeccable service, never intrusive, made of sincere attention that is increasingly rare these days. But the greatest compliment is another. My mother is a person with very demanding tastes. She prefers simple, authentic cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. It's difficult to surprise her, even more difficult to excite her. And yet, tonight, they succeeded. Her stories conveyed not only appreciation for excellent dishes, but also the thrill of having enjoyed an experience that left a lasting impression. When a cuisine manages to convey respect for the ingredients, a love of tradition, and care for each guest, then it's no longer just good food, but genuine hospitality. Before hanging up, she entrusted me with a single mission: to advise everyone not to leave without trying the licorice panna cotta. In her words, it was a simply unforgettable dessert. Thank you for turning a simple dinner with friends into a precious memory. There are places you visit and places you take home with you. From what I've heard this evening, your masseria undoubtedly belongs to the latter category.
