14/05/2026: We celebrated my son's wedding vows. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was excellent and refined, and the waiters were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: Last night we decided to come to this restaurant to try the classic tasting menu. High expectations, which were met with discretion. The menu was varied but with subtle flavors, which nevertheless left me with some hesitation. Five-star service, attentive to detail, but perhaps I would have appreciated a more relaxed approach, especially when dealing with young customers. I believe a smile is always the key to great success. The highlight is undoubtedly the tortellino with ricotta, red shrimp, and bisque. Overall, the place is beautiful, the staff are knowledgeable, but given the final bill, perhaps they should be more selective with their tastes, in my opinion. Very interesting wine, with a wide variety of labels, including natural and quality wines. There's a cellar downstairs that you can visit. In any case, the flavors are delicate, and we definitely recommend trying it if you're in Trani. Thank you.

01/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Sgarra, and I have to say it was nothing short of sensational. The setting is extremely refined and elegant, but the surprising thing is that it never makes you feel wrong or out of place. The welcome is warm and they pamper you from start to finish, starting with the delicious welcome amuse-bouche. You can taste the passion and precision with which the dishes are prepared in every flavor. You taste each dish and it's natural to say, "Wow, what a blast!" For example: I'm not particularly fond of fish, yet the calamari as an appetizer was spectacular. The suckling pig was also wonderful, cooked and treated to perfection. My partner chose amberjack (for his main course) and was more than thrilled! The value for money is exceptional, especially considering the high quality of the cuisine. It's an experience I highly recommend and a place I would definitely return to with great pleasure.

The entire staff is very attentive to every detail, ensuring guests enjoy the food and feel comfortable in this restaurant. I will happily return to this place and will recommend it to others.

17/05/2026: We chose Small's catering to celebrate life after a five-year follow-up. The portions were generous and tasty. A wide variety of appetizers were available. The crepes, lasagna, stew, and hamburger millefeuille were excellent. Our guests were completely satisfied. I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: Lots of appearances, but little substance. Unfortunately, the meal was marred by the incessant barking of a dog, ignored by both the owners and the restaurant staff. It was almost impossible to speak, and the space was so small and stuffy that the only thing left to do was run away, as the poor dog would have wanted... Since it's incredibly expensive, it's not worth the risk.

20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre. The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.

31/05/2026: The Melanzane was wonderful. The sea bass carpaccio had a slight odor. The pasta was very good, but we couldn't eat the shrimp in it. Don't even try the Tiramisu. It's just espresso poured over biscuits and topped with cream. It was terrible.

14/05/2026: Fantastic meal here on a quiet Wednesday night. Delicious local flavours and high quality ingredients. Service was impeccable and despite there only being a few diners in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

14/05/2026: We were seated in a corridor-like room with the kitchen at the far end. Next to us was an office where a woman was doing accounts and resolving issues with a couple of managers at the next table, who paid us absolutely no attention except for the final bill. It was very unpleasant to be seated next to managers who were clearly dissatisfied and didn't understand their language. The bread wasn't good. There was no olive oil on the table. The food was mediocre.

08/05/2026: The sandwich pulpo is just perfect: the octopus is really fresh, the sandwich is filled with onion confit and olive which makes it really moist and full of flavor.

27/05/2026: I visited this restaurant last weekend. The atmosphere inside was truly stunning. The French-style decor is very welcoming, with well-arranged tables. The seafood is truly top-notch. The creativity in creating new flavors and culinary combinations is evident. The surprising, carefully cooked appetizers add that extra touch of excitement to the subsequent first course. In fact, for my main course, I chose excellent seafood cavatelli, which not only tasted delicious, but also smelled truly of the sea; evidence of the freshest ingredients, and, I repeat, of high quality. The table service was exceptional. The preparation and passion of the owner, Mr. Ivan, were excellent. He not only announced the vast menu selection, but also described the contents of each course. High quality at a fair price. Truly satisfied. I will gladly return. Highly recommended.

27/05/2026: Veronique We tend to travel on a budget. But a little something special is always welcome. This evening, on the recommendation of our host, we treated ourselves to a visit to a traditional Apulian fish restaurant. We were greeted warmly and with appropriate courtesy, feeling like we belonged alongside the Italian gentlemen's club, the couples from different backgrounds, the tourists, and the locals. The owner was justifiably proud of what the restaurant offered: instead of a hundred different specialties, a selection of excellent dishes featuring fish, prawns, and other seafood. The food tasted fresh and was perfectly paired with sauces, delicately cooked, and the octopus was superb, just like in São Bento, Porto. The atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed, without excessive noise. The philosophy, the pride in the product, hadn't devolved into ideology or preaching; the conversation remained light and open. The food and wine lived up to the menu's promise. It was an excellent end to our Apulian experience. Thank you so much, Trani and Veronique.

30/04/2026: What can we say? For us, Don Angus means trust, consistently guaranteed quality, and the wonderful feeling of being at home. The star of the show is, of course, the top-quality meat, but a special mention goes to the service, always attentive and courteous, capable of accommodating every request with utmost professionalism. We absolutely recommend it!
