09/06/2025: A little insider tip, as almost exclusively locals eat there. The prices are super reasonable for what you get. The food was perfectly prepared, tasted amazing, and looked very good too. The only downside for anyone who doesn't speak Italian or doesn't want to use a translation app: the menu is entirely in Italian!

24/06/2025: I went to this restaurant with a friend for dinner after a day at the beach and already knowing the place after having been there once. The reservation is very convenient through their website, you will receive confirmation directly from them for the success of the operation. The place is wonderful, with this terrace overlooking the sea and the staff will try to seat you around to better admire the view. The menu includes some complete tastings, pizza and classic appetizers, first and second courses. You must also try their desserts. The food was delicious so much so that incredibly I did not feel sick even after eating the mussels, which I love, but which often around are not cooked or cleaned in a very orthodox way. The portions are not meager like in other restaurants, here you eat a lot! The only complaint I have to make, but just to be picky, is about the service. The waiters and waitresses were all extremely kind, but unfortunately at a certain time they disappeared from the radar and there was no way to attract their attention. The couple next to us worked hard for half an hour to order another portion of their excellent French fries and when the waitress arrived they were told that the kitchen was already closed at 10pm, while we were left for 20 minutes with the dessert menu in hand without anyone showing up to take our order. I'm pointing this out because it happened to us last time too. Unfortunately the place is huge to manage and on weekdays the staff is probably reduced, we didn't point it out at the time because it wasn't a big inconvenience for us, but I think of those who for one reason or another have a curfew, in that case go early because they take it easy, but go! As for the costs, they seemed standard for a restaurant of this type, not too different from last year. Highly recommended for a quiet dinner with a sea view!

06/07/2025: Pizzeria Il Buongustaio – Sorano (GR) A pleasant little discovery in the heart of Sorano. Il Buongustaio offers a really well-made Roman-style pizza: thin, crispy to perfection and with a light but tasty dough. Balanced and good quality toppings, perfect for those who love the “scrocchiarella” as it should be. The atmosphere is simple, informal and suitable for everyone, even families. The service was quick and courteous: we were welcomed immediately, the table was ready in an instant and the orders arrived without a hitch. Despite the short waiting times, the staff was still kind enough to apologize for the wait — a rare and much appreciated gesture. The bill is absolutely honest, well below the average of many tourist places. Excellent value for money, without a doubt. Also convenient to reach: the pizzeria overlooks a small square where it is easy to find parking (be careful, it is a public parking lot and not a private one of the place — but it is right there a stone's throw away, very practical). The only flaw - but I point it out more as a reminder than as a criticism - when it came to paying the bill it was not possible to pay with the POS. Nothing serious, but it is good to plan on having some cash, just to avoid surprises. In short: good pizza, fast service, friendly staff and fair prices. A recommended stop if you are in the area and are looking for a simple, good and stress-free dinner.

01/06/2025: Pizza discreta ma personale poco accordante. Arrivati alle 21:20 e chiesto un posto per 2 + cane. Disponibilità solo interna dove si moriva letteralmente soffocati dal caldo e dall'odore del forno per pizza. Fuori 2 tavoli occupati ed uno dei quali era al dolce; chiediamo di attendere per poterci sedere fuori e ci viene risposto "non si alzano per ora, stanno mangiando e poi alle 22 chiudiamo!" NO COMMENT. Ordiniamo 2 pizze da asporto e le abbiamo mangiate fuori al muretto mentre vedevamo il tavolo che era al dolce liberarsi! Ah non erano arrivate le 22 ancora. Altra pecca? Pos non funzionante !!!!!

01/07/2025: The pizza is delicious, thumbs up to the boss 👍🏻 There is no air conditioning upstairs, but the basement/cellar is air-conditioned and very cool. As for the service, it is not recommended for any tourists who do not speak Italian to go here. First of all, the waiters in the store do not speak English. Secondly, the menu prices posted on the door of the store are expired. The actual price of each dish has increased by at least 2 euros. Finally, the lady at the premiere counter in the basement was very impatient. I repeatedly checked the new electronic menu because of the menu price issue. When I went to pay again, the lady directly gestured to the young waiter next to her and said an Italian word, which made the young waiter cover his mouth and laugh. I don’t know what they said because I don’t understand Italian, but the atmosphere made me extremely uncomfortable. Finally, when I asked for the receipt, the lady was also very impatient. In the end, she didn’t say any polite words such as "thank you" or respond to my "thank you", which was very rude.

23/06/2025: From the outside it doesn't look like there's anything, but in the basement there's a beautiful room. And then you eat very well, what more do you want?

27/06/2025: Despite being far from the sea, the fish dishes are very good. The seafood padellata is excellent but they should put more spaghetti in it. The service is kind but not very attentive.

11/07/2025: Everything was good, a wide selection, but I wouldn't rate the Fiorentina steak highly enough, as it was cooked through. A note on the wines: they're missing a good portion from the Adriatic.

25/06/2025: Had to come to the most iconic pizza spot in all of Florence. The service was amazing. We were so excited to see all the jersey shore memorabilia. The staff were so kind. The pizza was amazing! Would come back!!

12/06/2025: We had a lovely time at this pizzeria! This was some of the best affordable pizza we have had in Italy so far. Great prices, fresh, crispy and delicious pizzas. We had the prosciutto fungi and some kind of tomato and arugula and it was wonderful. This was a great place to go to after main attractions. We waited a very short time for them to cook us a fresh pizza fast and the owners were so lovely. Also the sign just says “ pizzeria “ so watch out for that! This is the place to go!!!

18/06/2025: A great place that doesn't stand out from the outside, not big but has an extraordinary atmosphere and delicious food. The owner takes care of each client, approaches individually but not in an intrusive and money-making way, you can feel the family atmosphere here, a place with tradition, a family business that the owner himself can tell you about, a place that is a must-see when in Pisa, of course right after the leaning tower. :)

23/05/2025: the food is some of the best I’ve had in Florence. The area is beautiful, the house wine is excellent, but most of all the staff & the service are unmatched. Alban is the sweetest waiter we’ve ever had! I come to the restaurant at least once a week for the papardelle and the cheesecake. Definitely recommend!

24/06/2025: Pizza was extremely oily but still tasty. However my issue is with the service. Despite waiting patiently in the queue and finally having our order taken after half an hour, we then waited a further half an hour/45 mins to receive our meals. I’m extremely aware cooking an order fresh takes time but during this time, many locals were served and left with bigger orders right in front of us! This wouldn’t have bothered us so much if the staff had been more accurate about when ours would be ready. Eventually after waiting close to 45 minutes, I once again asked at the counter and the young man (the only one to take in to account how long we’d been waiting at the counter) then started to make ours.

17/06/2025: While the restaurant was empty, They did not let us in because we had a small baby trolley with us. Do not recommend it to families with children.

17/06/2025: We were very disappointed with our experience. As a family with a small child, we arrived with a stroller and were told we had to fold it and leave it aside, which is inconvenient and frankly unwelcoming. There was space available, but the staff made no effort to accommodate us. We ended up leaving without dining.
