01/06/2026: Worth a visit, excellent food and excellent wines. Prices are in line with the quality and quantity, without being overpriced. Very friendly and helpful staff.

18/05/2026: I'd like to start my review by saying BRAVA to the owner... She makes you feel at home, she's very kind and always smiling, and the waitress is always attentive and very nice... It's located in the center of Chiusi... a typical Tuscan restaurant with tables on the main pedestrian street... For our first course, we had Pici all'aglione, and I was disappointed because they were undercooked and lacking in seasoning. For our second course, we had Tagliata, which was nothing to complain about, very good, and then the tiramisu, which was also good... A glass of Tuscan red... About 40 euros per person. Happy?... Even though the pici weren't great, yes, I'm happy.

01/06/2026: Six of us dined for lunch, having booked an hour in advance on a Sunday. We kindly asked for quick service because we had an engagement after lunch and were pressed for time. To make things easier, we ordered six identical dishes. We were served quickly, and the wild boar pici were delicious. Total price was €84 with two or three bottles of water and coffee. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer.

16/05/2026: The owners and staff are welcoming. The menu offers a good selection. Everything is delicious, from the homemade pasta dishes to the pizza, which is very easy to digest and flavorful. Generous portions. Highly recommended.

28/01/2026: Excellent place, after the bad news of its closure at the end of the year, the good news is that it's reopening with a truly talented chef from Casoli, apparently, along with the help of Rita and, I hope, the old staff, who are truly brilliant. It would have been a shame if it hadn't happened.

19/05/2026: Unfortunately, the food wasn't of very high quality. We both felt unwell after eating, which I suspect is due to the use of additives. It seems that using only fresh and pure ingredients isn't a priority here. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant's location overlooking the harbor is, of course, lovely.

23/05/2026: Our favorite place. Pizzerias like this are becoming rarer and rarer. Giovanni is a true artist of pizza and leavened products. Together with Oksana and the rest of the staff, he manages to make this pizzeria a place where you truly feel like you're receiving service delivered with passion and attention. An experience you're more than happy to pay for. For us, it's the best in Pisa, hands down. (We've been to them all)

03/07/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and hit the nail on the head. The place was delightful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone visiting Porto Azzurro.

10/06/2026: The pizza and cecina were exceptional, as always, but we made the mistake of sitting at the table with service: 2 slices of pizza, half a portion of cecina, 1 water, 1 tea, and 1 small glass of sparkling wine for €21. A bit overpriced, despite the table service.

27/01/2026: This place needs to be shut down. Microwaved food and rude owner. I should have checked the reviews before I went here. Guy was so rude he made me cry. Look at the other responses from the owner. He doesn’t care or is concerned about his business. His own defense is calling customers who experience bad service are 'fake and liars.’ He is fake and a liar. I will never come here again.

27/12/2025: This was my first time here. The restaurant has a chill vibe, the staff are lovely, and it feels like a local eatery. There's Wi-Fi, but no fans or air conditioning; it gets really hot if you're in the mood. The service was welcoming, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they even offered food recommendations (if you're unsure what to eat or what kind of food you like). The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. I'm happy with the restaurant. It was a really nice experience.

16/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria just steps from our accommodation. We ate there twice in four days. A very friendly welcome with a complimentary prosecchino, excellent and generous portions, and very reasonably priced! Thank you again for your hospitality and a special thank you to the waitress who walks from the Stibbert Museum to the restaurant.

16/05/2026: Five stars in its category: neighborhood restaurant. The food is fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The service is quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable. It's often full, so reservations are recommended. I'll be back.

04/06/2026: We had the absolute best experience at Godipopolo during our stay in Tavernelle. From the very first visit, Godi made us feel so welcome and looked after. We arrived quite late as a large group of 11 people, yet she still accommodated us with such kindness, warmth, and generosity, which we really appreciated. The pizzas were honestly some of the best we had during our entire trip. Everything tasted incredibly authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, with so many great options to choose from. I ordered the Vegeteriana and the Parmagiana pizzas, and both were absolute standouts. The ingredients were fresh, the bases were perfect, and every bite was delicious. The experience was so good that throughout our week-long stay, we ended up ordering from Godipopolo more than anywhere else. Every single time, the food was consistently amazing and Godi was always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating no matter how busy things were. It became one of the highlights of our trip and truly felt like a local gem. Amazing food, fantastic service, and such a warm atmosphere. Easily the best restaurant we visited in the area and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

01/06/2026: The two stars are for the charmingly located bistro and the friendly service. Everything else was unfortunately inedible. We're really not picky eaters, but everyone left their food (even the children). I've never drunk (or rather, left uneaten) such bad white wine, and the tuna was also of very poor quality. We're baffled as to how it got such good reviews…

10/06/2026: Terrible experience. I made a reservation on Thursday for Saturday at 9:00 PM. They showed up and, saying I'd reserved a table for 9:00 PM, told me I'd have to wait because there were other customers first. So, there was no point in booking. The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. I don't think I'll go again.
