21/04/2026: The old Sbrana from 30 years ago is obviously gone, but the grandchildren are still great. The wait is a bit longer than usual, but it's worth it with the deliciousness of the typical Tuscan dishes. The quality of the ingredients used is truly excellent. In the evening, the pizza is truly delicious. The service is adequate for the type of restaurant, but the delivery of the dishes could be improved. Finally, the bill: fair; in fact, we all expected a little more.

15/03/2026: If I enter a restaurant and ask if there's anything vegan on the menu, there are usually two possibilities: 1) the restaurant owner makes themselves available to accommodate the customer as much as possible (which generally happens), perhaps by saying, "We don't have much vegan on the menu, but we can adapt a few dishes, don't worry." 2) the restaurant owner (in this case, an elderly, not-at-all-friendly lady) responds to the question with a curt, "No, nothing." Well, the lady responded with that curt, "No, nothing," despite later discovering that the menu includes pickled vegetables, mushroom gnocchi, etc. For the rest of the meal, she was consistently rude and blatantly hostile to vegans, so much so that she even attacked the other (non-vegan) people at my table. The world is progressing; adapt.

11/05/2026: We wandered in by chance on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised. The appetizer was "Alici alla povera" (Anchovies "Poor Man's" style), excellent! The tortelli with meat sauce were also excellent and truly delicious. The aromatic herb and citrus risotto was perhaps a little overcooked, but still good. For dessert, a creamy basil sauce with red berries and chocolate was interesting. The staff was friendly and efficient. The place was very beautiful, but the acoustics weren't great.

11/05/2026: Big fans of the restaurant and go there often. We were there Sunday May 10 for dinner, inside. We were seated next to a couple who had a lot to say about their meals. It was a complicated meat order, shared, and eventually not to their liking. The very good manager came to check that all was ok, they said Yes all good. They then turned on him when they finished the meal. The manager rightly said that they should have alerted him to a potential problem when asked, or even later, and he would have solved it. It was an unedifying situation for the Manager, who was excellent in his explanations to a very difficult customer. I am writing this in the hope that should this person complain in this or any other forum that there is very much another side to the story.

03/05/2026: The 1.3 kg Florentine steak for two was excellent. It was sublime, cooked medium rare, as recommended by the house. The meat was incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. It was accompanied by rosemary-roasted potatoes and a glass of Chianti Classico. While waiting for the Florentine steak, the schiacciata all'olio was excellent.

24/12/2025: A charming and surprisingly interesting place. Excellent and fast service. Delicious and tasty pizza and focaccia dough. Try the cecina: extraordinary.

24/12/2025: A historic restaurant in Pisa, and in my opinion, the best cecina in the city...and not only that, the menu offers a wide selection of schiacciatine for all tastes, as well as pizza. Highly recommended.

12/04/2026: I'll start by saying it's a perfect place to spend an evening with family or friends. The menu is extensive, including specialty pizzas that change. The place is welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. I must admit, last Friday we waited 40 minutes for our order (I think this was a unique experience, as the service has always been quite fast in the past). But overall, I can say it's worth the wait! The pizza is good, light and flaky, even when cooked on gas, not wood. The desserts are average (I must say the tiramisu is good). The price is reasonable. We'll definitely return, whether with family or for an evening with friends! The price is consistent and appropriate for the entire dinner.

28/03/2026: This pizzeria is truly excellent, and certainly the best I've ever eaten at. It offers a wide selection of pizzas, focaccias, calzones, and meat dishes, all at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is well-maintained and the staff are helpful. The pizzas range from classic to more specialty, and are all delicious.

14/05/2026: A good pizzeria in the center of Viareggio. Very good pizza and cecina. They have a long line, so it's best to reserve a table. The atmosphere and service are simple, just the way I like them.

02/04/2026: We happened to have lunch at this delightful restaurant today...what a pleasant surprise!! The staff were lovely, they even gave my child a placemat and markers, and we had a wonderful lunch!!! Everything was exceptional!! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!

03/05/2026: I admit that a criticism is needed, the square was too thin and too flaccid. At least you had the integrity to cook it properly. The only satisfaction was to find good and fresh ingredients on the square. I saved myself by taking only the well-cooked focaccia with a good filling.

10/04/2026: Hidden gem. Top notch service, always there and gave us great recommendations for wine and for specialties, shoutout to Luca for great job! We had cheese platter which paired perfectly with white wine. For mains we tried sirloin steak and fawn with prunes both were irresistible. But despite that we still had room for dessert (as should anyone on vacation) and it was right decision because Catalan cream paired with Tiramisu got us to that perfect state, where you just grateful to the universe for your existence.

08/04/2026: Excellent place. The restaurant offers typical cuisine, and the service is quick and very pleasant. The food was very good, the only slight drawback being that the portions might be a little small for those with a hearty appetite. For those unfamiliar with how Italian restaurants operate, there's always a cover charge, a sort of contribution similar to the mandatory tip in the United States. In short, I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: The pizza is delicious, the atmosphere and service are unique, and the place has a rather strange vibe. They seem to be more focused on locals than tourists, treating them a bit like intruders.

20/04/2026: The worst we ate in Pisa during our five-day stay, and unfortunately, it was also our last... We don't recommend it. The mortadella was dry, the prosciutto wasn't tasty, the burrata wasn't very good, and the pizza was salty. :(
