23/09/2025: I enjoyed this pizzeria for both the thin crust and traditional Neapolitan pizza. My partner really likes their fried pizza. The ingredients are top-quality and the service is excellent.

01/10/2025: There's a wide selection on the menu, but as a customer who mostly orders pizza, I have to say that over time, the pizzas have gotten smaller and less topped, and the waits have gotten longer, especially for takeout: the hours can be up to 30 minutes later!!! And if you work a night shift, you might have to make do with leftovers from the fridge.

17/09/2025: Excellent service, excellent pizza with various bases (I tried the spelt one), and the sandwiches are also excellent. I highly recommend them.

04/11/2025: A truly excellent pizzeria for meeting friends or dining with family. High-quality ingredients, a good selection of menu items, fast and friendly service, and a local business. We tried several different pizzas, and they were all exceptional. A wonderful selection of several types of beer. Very pleasant atmosphere, great prices. Can recommend.

04/11/2025: We used to frequent this place years ago when it was in another location, but now it's truly spectacular, completely new and fresh. The same old Tuscan pizzas, crispy and made with high-quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back to Porretta Terme.

11/11/2025: Stayed close by and ate here twice in a week. The pizza is stupendous -- the crust is perfectly charred, the toppings plentiful but not overdone. I had a campangola and the one of the options listed on the chalkboard -- with radicchio, speck, and burrata. I cannot tell you how unbelievably delicious the second pizza was. Both times house red wine, and once the Vesuvius for dessert. Each time I went early aware that it is a smallish place and as a single diner I didn't want to occupy a whole table during rush. They also to take away/to go pizza. They have an English menu but check the wall for other options. The waiter I had also spoke English; not expected but welcome since my Italian is very poor. If you're anywhere in the area, go!

13/10/2025: Good pizza. The dough is excellent, and one pizza is more than enough to fill you up. Small but cute location; we were in the center and felt a bit overlooked due to the closeness of the tables. Service was quick and courteous. They offer advice and are friendly if you have any requests. Excellent experience, a little more expensive compared to neighboring pizzerias and for the area, but worth it. We didn't book.

13/10/2025: The best pizza I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing! The dough fluffy, the tomato sauce delicious, the cheese melted to perfection and on top the taste of the real wood fired oven. The service polite and friendly! I can only recommend!

02/10/2025: Definitely worth the effort for a delicious meal. It's tucked away in the back of the village, a bit hidden. But it's worth the search, it's absolutely delicious.

21/09/2025: Simply superb. We've been there several times and tried almost everything, even the pizzas. Everything was delicious. The little things are homemade by hand, and you can taste it.

01/11/2025: I practically grew up with their excellent dishes! The staff is friendly and professional. Here you'll find traditional Lucca and Tuscan dishes. The Zuppa alla Frantoiana is excellent, the farro soup is fantastic, and the pasta with wild boar ragù is special. But the best are the tordelli Lucchesi. Here you'll find the real ones, the ones that stay a little firm and don't sag, accompanied by an excellent ragù. In short, for me, they're the best around! The main courses are also excellent: the cacciucco, the peposo, and the wild boar stew with olives (one of the best in all of Lucca, and perhaps Tuscany, I'm not kidding). The pizza is also excellent; I recommend the buffalo mozzarella and sausage!

31/10/2025: A good lunch with a set menu or seafood options. Fast service. Reservations are recommended. Larger portions are available unless you're looking for something else on the set menu, which still costs €12. Thin-crust pizzas are also available at lunchtime.
