11/07/2026: The best pizza we've had in a long time! If you pass by without stopping, you're truly missing out. The pizza is incredibly delicious, freshly made, and prepared with great care. The owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming, making you feel at home right away. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Castiglione della Pescaia. Highly recommended!

11/03/2026: A pizzeria by the slice in the historic center of Carrara that's truly worth a visit. The pizza is excellent, and the piping hot pizza is special: not too thick, perfectly crispy, and incredibly flavorful. The focaccia is also excellent. The small dining room in front of the restaurant is a popular spot, perfect for sitting down and enjoying everything at your leisure. A simple yet high-quality place, ideal for a quick snack or a tasty break in the center.

08/07/2026: When I want truly high-quality pizza, this place is my go-to. The verace, the ruota di carro, and the fine pizza for my daughter are all excellent. The frittatas and other appetizers are delicious. The ingredients are top-quality. The service is quick and very friendly. The place is very charming and intimate. In the summer, you can also dine outside.

05/07/2026: We were lucky to find a table outside on a Saturday evening, especially since the service is fast, so tables fill up quickly. The menu offers a wide selection of Neapolitan dishes, including a myriad of pizzas, from authentic to thin-crust and wagonwheel. The pizzas are well-topped and come with some unusual combinations. I recommend them.

02/04/2026: We happened to have lunch at this delightful restaurant today...what a pleasant surprise!! The staff were lovely, they even gave my child a placemat and markers, and we had a wonderful lunch!!! Everything was exceptional!! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!

04/06/2026: We had the absolute best experience at Godipopolo during our stay in Tavernelle. From the very first visit, Godi made us feel so welcome and looked after. We arrived quite late as a large group of 11 people, yet she still accommodated us with such kindness, warmth, and generosity, which we really appreciated. The pizzas were honestly some of the best we had during our entire trip. Everything tasted incredibly authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, with so many great options to choose from. I ordered the Vegeteriana and the Parmagiana pizzas, and both were absolute standouts. The ingredients were fresh, the bases were perfect, and every bite was delicious. The experience was so good that throughout our week-long stay, we ended up ordering from Godipopolo more than anywhere else. Every single time, the food was consistently amazing and Godi was always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating no matter how busy things were. It became one of the highlights of our trip and truly felt like a local gem. Amazing food, fantastic service, and such a warm atmosphere. Easily the best restaurant we visited in the area and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

13/07/2026: We had dinner last night, and it was more of a sauna than a dinner. It's incredibly hot under the umbrellas. At the very least, we need some nebulizers, which help more than the generously distributed fans.

16/07/2026: I came here this evening for the first time because I'm a truck driver. Since I'm stuck at Tamac and will be loading tomorrow morning, I spent a couple of hours at the beach. While walking, I saw this pizzeria. I must say that the owner was very kind in letting me sit down, even if it was just for a quick pizza. His name is ToninoDiscoVolante, and his name is Tonino. Anyway, I wanted to compliment you on the beautiful place, everything is well-organized, clean, and the staff is all great, very kind, and helpful. If I get the hang of it, I'll definitely be back. Even just to enjoy a delicious pizza like tonight. Keep up the good work.

09/07/2026: We were a group of about 20 people at this place; since it was a large table, we made a reservation. The pizza menu is varied, and all of it is delicious. We chose it because it's close to the hotel where we stayed, so it's within walking distance. I didn't see any parking nearby, so I'm not sure if it's easy to find since it's close to the seafront. Recommended.
