25/01/2026: A lovely surprise. Fantastic place, the restaurant used to be an old monastery. The vaults and ancient rooms remain, and there's a wonderful atmosphere.
The dishes are generous and well-prepared, especially the fried fish, which was truly excellent.
The bill was absolutely fair, in fact, I'd say slightly underpriced.
We'll definitely be back.
12/01/2026: What can I say, the name is perfect. Osteria dei Poeti, and in the kitchen, they don't prepare "normal" dishes, but truly delicious poems. Naturally, the wait staff then serves them, explaining the lines and rhymes. Thanks guys, we ate really well: mixed bruschetta, artichokes alla Giudia and fried artichokes (delicious), ribollita, ravioli with bacon and onion, etc. (another delight), and spaghetti with prawns. As I say in these cases... a truly wonderful dinner!!!

27/11/2025: We had dinner and ordered two pinsa. The dough was very good. The waitress messed up one order, but she was very kind and fixed it right away by having the pinsa remade. The gluten-free and lactose-free options were excellent.
03/11/2025: The pinza is very good, and there are also interesting variations for those who aren't traditional (always margherita, preferably with mushrooms). For example, a friend of ours had the pinza with kebab, and it was beautiful to look at and a great pairing. The atmosphere is simple and intimate, perfect for a Saturday night. Excellent beer selection, and good value.

29/09/2025: In my very humble opinion, after five years of coming to Giglio and Cantine Aperte, I confirm my preference for this restaurant.
It's small, fortunately not suited to noisy, convivial tables.
The attention to detail in the dishes and the quality of the ingredients are top-notch, starting with the olive oil.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to taste the sea and appreciates the restaurant's delicacy.
Will I return to Giglio? Maybe, but I'll definitely book this restaurant!

I went because of a friend's recommendation, but I didn't find the restaurant.
24/12/2025: I returned after many years. The owners have changed, but they're very kind and made me feel welcome.
The pizza is always good. The only flaw is the location, located outside in a gazebo facing the market square but heated by small heaters.
I ate the pizza quickly because I was freezing.
I'd better come back in spring next time.

11/02/2026: A very nice restaurant with a carefully designed dining room, perhaps just a little dimly lit. The pizzas are excellent, but I was surprised by the fish-based first courses, which were excellent and the portions were just right to fill you up. In my opinion, their strong point is the service. The staff were incredibly kind, and I often heard other customers compliment the young, super-helpful waiters. Well done. It's a shame about the location; it deserves to be on a central street. Highly recommended.

The pizzas were absolutely delicious.
The waiters/waitresses were very friendly.

29/01/2026: A truly pleasant place... the pizza is thin and crispy, with a light and well-rolled dough... the ingredients are fresh and high-quality... even though it was born as a take-away pizzeria, it is possible to eat in thanks to a few tables, perfect for a quick but tasty break... the service is excellent, friendly and fast... a simple but well-kept pizzeria, ideal both for take-away and for eating a good pizza on the spot.

07/02/2026: The best thing is the ambiance; the meat used to be good, but today many of the pizzas were too dry. The tomatoes and Parmesan were supermarket quality. The house wine was too warm and too acidic. Prices are now much higher than on the website; even the €3 cover charge is steep. A family with two children ends up paying €12 for a seat. The pricing is a rip-off.
