The atmosphere is lovely, bright, clean, and welcoming. The food is truly excellent. The portions are huge. The kindness of the owner/waitress is an added bonus. Her husband, the chef, prepares excellent dishes. They took over the place in 2024 and are doing a great job. The prices are average, actually a little lower because the portions are really large.
Go, you'll be satisfied, just like we were.

A PLEASANT DISCOVERY JUST A STEP FROM HOME
Just a stone's throw from my house, there's this wonderful place, welcoming, and tidy in every way.
The owners are wonderful, the food is EXCELLENT, the service EXCELLENT, the place has a warm atmosphere, like being at home... I congratulate you for having brought this place back to life.
Today, my husband, my son, and I came for lunch, and we were so thrilled that we decided to celebrate our son's First Communion here.
You deserve the best.

In Tuscany for work, I tried several places in the surrounding area until I stumbled upon Sottobosco. There's no comparison, and I haven't changed. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and in the warmer months it has a large, green outdoor area—it's wonderful. The welcome and service will make you feel at home, friendly and kind. The restaurant offers a menu of meat and seafood dishes. I've tried everything, and I must say the quality of the ingredients is excellent, everything cooked to perfection! The price is more than fair—highly recommended!
