28/03/2026: We went to Don Beta to celebrate a birthday in Volterra: an authentic atmosphere and excellent Tuscan cuisine. The pici cacio e pepe were excellent, and the lampredotto was truly exquisite. We recommend it to our guests and travelers visiting Volterra and Tuscany.
20/03/2026: We came across this place on a Sunday for lunch, without having booked but they still found us a table for 2. The food was excellent from appetizer to dessert and the staff were friendly.

18/04/2026: We stumbled across this little local place when we stayed at a hotel near by. Pizzas was so good we came back to eat again the next evening. Good value for money, sweet staff and delicious pizzas.
18/04/2026: Had a great time and incredible pizza. A lot of choice (also of sweet pizza's) and a generous serving for the price. The staff is very kind! Would recommend to anyone π

26/04/2026: This is our second time in San Vincenzo, and we specifically ate at Carnaby Street because the food is excellent! The pizza is top-notch, incredibly delicious! You have to try it, as is the tagliolini allo scoglio. Generous portions with mussels, clams, razor clams, octopus, shrimp... everything you could want! The owner, Andrea, is super polite, kind, and knowledgeable about everything! Well done! Go and try it!

03/05/2026: A good place to eat, quiet, and the food was delicious. We went on the recommendation of our guide.
There were four of us, and we decided to order the steak. It weighed 1.2 kilos and came with baked potatoes (which, in my opinion, were a bit oily, but tasty). We all ate from that dish, even though it said it was for two people. Before cooking the steak, the waiter came over to ask us how we wanted it cooked. Excellent service.
We spent 80 euros and also ordered water and wine.

02/05/2026: Pizza, not pizza, embarrassing waiters, we asked for an opinion on the wine and the answer was: "I don't know, try it and see." Immediately afterward, some girls at the next table ordered gluten-free food, a waiter came and left it at our table without explaining anything, and then our entrees were brought to their table...professionalism at its highest level.

07/05/2026: TOURIST RIP-OFF & SCAM. The Payton is dishonest and the employees are under its control.
They charged us β¬3 per person for service even though only one person ate. When we pointed this out, they told us that's how it's done in Italy. A complete rip-off!!

08/03/2026: I'd read so many great reviews, and after going there, I can say the service was impeccable, friendly, and young, yet very professional. The problem is the pizza; honestly, I found them all to be very flavorless. Given the price, I expected the quality of the ingredients to be better.

I wasn't expecting a place with this quality. Visited on Easter Sunday 2026. The quality of the ingredients was incredible, and the recipes were truly delicious. We ate a lot, trying various dishes to please our palate. Fantastic location, very intimate. Thank you, chef!
