15/06/2025: What can I say, informal and lively environment I must admit that I am a regular and therefore perhaps a little biased But undoubtedly it is undeniable that the quality of the meat is excellent ... perfectly flavored aged steaks and at really good prices When you see a steak like that arrive with a nice grilled porcini mushroom on top The enjoyment is guaranteed The plus is the gang of young and friendly owners!!

27/06/2025: Incredibly friendly service, everyone went above and beyond. The pizza was excellent; for my personal taste, it could have been baked a bit darker, but it was still very, very good. A very good selection of drinks, with a few interesting beers from a local brewery on offer. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!

26/06/2025: We were there for dinner in a large group of 24 people. Everything was super easy, the service was great, the food delicious and the view stunning! We had the set menu, which was perfect for us. No one had to browse the menu; everyone could try everything. (If I saw correctly, there's no à la carte menu either.) The quality of the food, the accompanying wine + water, together with the great service, was good value for money. We also had a few vegetarians in the group, so dishes were adapted so there was more than enough for everyone. I can only recommend and would come again! :)

25/05/2025: Era il mio posto preferito di quando ero una ragazzina pizze meravigliose stasera dopo tanti anni ho preso due pizze da asporto avrei voluto portargliele indietro dicendogli lei la mangerebbe questa pizza? Una prosciutto e funghi dove il crudo cattivo rancido e tagliato alto stiranchioso già brutta a vedersi .. Ma poi soprattutto l'impasto asciutto e secco solo ora sto leggendo le recensioni che hanno cambiato gestione Ecco il motivo e mi dispiace anche E comunque ho speso ben 21,50 per una capricciosa e una prosciutto e funghi per me finisce qua con il ricordo dei vecchi proprietari ..ragazzi un consiglio puntate sulla qualità dei prodotti perché si fa presto chiudere baracca

30/06/2025: A hidden gem. Friendly family restaurant tucked back just off the main street. Staff made everyone very welcome. Good choice of food. Traditional pizza and pasta. We opted for the spaghetti carbonara and it was lovely. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend

26/06/2025: The food was incredible and for the price of everything it was really worth the money in every way. We had bread, slices of pizza dough with herbs and tomato sauce and prosecco to start, all complementary. We then had the octopus pasta whichw as so filling, so much octopus and so delicious. We also had the tuna and roasted vegetables as a second dish which was cooked beautifully. We finished with the pistachio tiramisu to share and it was incredible. We had the house wine for 15 euros a bottle which was also really good - you can never go wrong with house wine in Italy! All in all the food and timing of the service was great and the atmosphere felt chique and warm at the same time. The o ly downsides are that it was very warm outside with no fans or any cooling (34 degrees was a bit much and even hotter inside) and the staff were a bit standoffish and not so friendly. They indeed did their job well, but even with the locals it felt a bit too strict service, it's okay to have a joke and smile but this was definitely not the case here. Edit - went back for takeaway pizza and the half British half Italian waitress was lovely!!

06/07/2025: Pizzeria Il Buongustaio – Sorano (GR) A pleasant little discovery in the heart of Sorano. Il Buongustaio offers a really well-made Roman-style pizza: thin, crispy to perfection and with a light but tasty dough. Balanced and good quality toppings, perfect for those who love the “scrocchiarella” as it should be. The atmosphere is simple, informal and suitable for everyone, even families. The service was quick and courteous: we were welcomed immediately, the table was ready in an instant and the orders arrived without a hitch. Despite the short waiting times, the staff was still kind enough to apologize for the wait — a rare and much appreciated gesture. The bill is absolutely honest, well below the average of many tourist places. Excellent value for money, without a doubt. Also convenient to reach: the pizzeria overlooks a small square where it is easy to find parking (be careful, it is a public parking lot and not a private one of the place — but it is right there a stone's throw away, very practical). The only flaw - but I point it out more as a reminder than as a criticism - when it came to paying the bill it was not possible to pay with the POS. Nothing serious, but it is good to plan on having some cash, just to avoid surprises. In short: good pizza, fast service, friendly staff and fair prices. A recommended stop if you are in the area and are looking for a simple, good and stress-free dinner.

01/06/2025: Pizza discreta ma personale poco accordante. Arrivati alle 21:20 e chiesto un posto per 2 + cane. Disponibilità solo interna dove si moriva letteralmente soffocati dal caldo e dall'odore del forno per pizza. Fuori 2 tavoli occupati ed uno dei quali era al dolce; chiediamo di attendere per poterci sedere fuori e ci viene risposto "non si alzano per ora, stanno mangiando e poi alle 22 chiudiamo!" NO COMMENT. Ordiniamo 2 pizze da asporto e le abbiamo mangiate fuori al muretto mentre vedevamo il tavolo che era al dolce liberarsi! Ah non erano arrivate le 22 ancora. Altra pecca? Pos non funzionante !!!!!

10/06/2025: Thanks to Google reviews. The food was phenomenal, and the host was very friendly and attentive. We would happily recommend this to any tourist. I was personally blown away by the fish platter. The antipasti itself was stunningly beautiful and very tasty. The wine was very reasonably priced and very light.
