19/08/2025: Rustic atmosphere with a lovely terrace overlooking Montepulciano. The Fassona beef tartare and gnudi are excellent, and the pinsa are uniquely paired with unique ingredients. Adequate portions and reasonable prices.

16/08/2025: Great restaurant for an intimate moment. Quiet, with traditional Tuscan cuisine and good wines. The old-fashioned one is also extraordinary. The service is very friendly. Great restaurant.

05/08/2025: I was looking for an authentic Italian restaurant to eat at. Fed up of all the tourist restaurants, I did some research and found Tortuga. I’m so glad I did. This was a long walk from the city of Florence, but was well worth it. This was the best meal we’d had in Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. Fantastic, fresh food. My son had the spicy salami pizza, whilst I had the salmon. It was delicious! I can’t wait to go back again!

26/08/2025: Dinner on the terrace. Even when the place was full, the service was fast, the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend the scampi gnocchi and the tuna tataki.

If you're looking for something a bit more special or off-menu, I highly recommend speaking to the manager — a truly kind-hearted person who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The service is outstanding: attentive, professional, and never intrusive. Prices are very reasonable, with most dishes ranging from around €10 to €30. The most expensive pizza was only about €14, which is impressive given the quality. The fish dishes, in particular, are exceptionally well prepared — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: My husband and I spent two weeks in this wonderful place, immersed in the peace of nature, and what can I say about all the people who are part of this magnificent reality...to say the least, wonderful! They made us feel at home! We will definitely be back.

06/04/2025: The pizza is good, served in rectangular pans that are easy to cut into strips, the atmosphere is informal, the owners are kind and helpful. I ate on site but more often took away and I always had a good time. They have never made a mistake with my order and the pizza is always beautiful to look at and eat. In short, it is a place that I would recommend to anyone.

23/02/2025: Excellent and express pizza. The best pan pizza around. Some services need to be improved, such as booking services. Sometimes you have to wait too long.

09/07/2025: We came for lunch yesterday. They had us sit outside, and each table had a flower, and I have to say I really liked that! Welcoming place. We ordered the Antipasto Del Pozzo, a truffle-filled fillet steak with roasted potatoes, a tagliata with rustic fries, a green spring ravioli, roasted fries, coffee, water, and wine. Good value for what we got. Overall, it's good.

24/08/2025: It was a revelation... unexpected... and how cheerful the atmosphere exudes... it's so nice to have a jar full of markers to draw with or leave a message on the placemats!!! The Tordelli Lucchesi are delicious!!! We'll definitely be back!!!!
