04/03/2026: I'm using Google Maps to travel all over Europe, and even in Switzerland I stopped at this great pizzeria. The pizza chef is excellent, and the prices are truly excellent. I highly recommend the pizza chef, he's truly talented; everyone would love to have a pizza chef like him in their pizzeria.

03/03/2026: A must to go go place when in Verbania, better call for a reservation especially over the weekend. The menu offers a variety of well crafted dishes for all tastes and a wide selection of wine.
The interior is decorated with personalized touches from the friendly owners and the outside patio is in a beautiful small piazza.
Good for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner.

04/01/2026: On the main road to the Formazza Valley, in the hamlet of San Rocco di Premia, lies this special pub. This establishment has made the decision to offer completely gluten-free food, so all its dishes are gluten-free, some even vegetarian. For celiacs, it's a kind of oasis of happiness; they can order everything, I believe only the beers are gluten-free (in addition to the gluten-free ones). Some of the food pairings are unusual; there's always a soup, risotto, and homemade gluten-free gnocchi. The atmosphere is quite rustic, and the outdoor bathroom in the summer doesn't help. I recommend booking ahead, even the day before during peak season, as they often get fully booked for lunch until generally 3:00 PM.

Also come here. Just wanna enjoy a glass of wine in nice atmosphere with amazingly friendly staff? Best place. Spent some honey moon days after our wedding at Lago Maggiore and made this our „place to be“ for cozy moments just the two of us and also for laughing and joking with the staff. Even got a spontaneous tiny cake for my birthday 🥹 Talented people, amazing service - must visit when around! Grazie 💚

Bagna cauda that doesn't need permission. He stands up, slams his fists on his taste buds, and says, "Today we're eating well, and I'm in charge here."
I ordered paniscia without even knowing what it was: it's not a normal risotto, it's a delicious energy concentrate made with lard isotopes.
They say Piedmontese cuisine hugs you: today it hugged me tightly and stayed with me for a long time to make sure I'd understood the lesson. I should point out that no passengers were gassed in the car on the return trip.
Not just the food, but the lovely people: I felt at home.
Honorable mention for the copper pans that were used for ostrich eggs.
09/02/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Ossola and lakeside cuisine. The first courses are delicious, and the venison stew is even better. The polenta could be improved; it's a bit too salty. Highly recommended, and I definitely think I'll be back.

15/03/2026: We tried it during a group lunch featuring the "Verbania Eventi" menu, consisting of two first courses, a second course, dessert, coffee, and 1/4 bottle of wine each for €29.00. Excellent home-cooked food and excellent service, prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant and simple, like a trattoria, with a family-friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

05/01/2026: We've been here a couple of times, but only enough to give it a positive review. The restaurant, themed around Dante's Inferno, features fun drawings and quotes reminiscent of the play, and even the pizza names are inspired by the comedy: delicious dough and toppings, perfectly cooked, and "enormous" 😅 I recommend choosing the "baby" version, which is the same size as the regular ones at other restaurants. The service is friendly and attentive, and they wait just the right amount of time. In other words, we'll be back and I recommend it: enjoy your pizza!
