17/09/2025: We ate very well, the staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We relaxed and had a great time after a nice walk.

16/09/2025: Highly recommended! You do need a vehicle, but the valley is beautiful for spending a few peaceful days here. The price/performance ratio of the rifugio is worth 6 stars. It's simple, but everything is clean, there's a normal toilet and a squat toilet, and three showers in the shared bathroom that work perfectly. The hospitality of Silvia, Giorgio, Alessandro, and Lucian is unbeatable. Thanks again for being patient with me and my rudimentary Italian :-) English is always fine here, too. If the opportunity arises, I'd love to come back. It's also ideal for motorcyclists. A day trip via Simplon, Furka, and Gotthard, and back over the pass road from Locarno toward Domodossola through the town of Re with its impressive basilica, is strenuous but recommended.

01/09/2025: A cozy restaurant with truly friendly owners. The food is just like home-cooked food: tasty, well-made, and made with lots of love. For Spaniards, I recommend trying the mussels and spaghetti scoglio—I know it may seem strange to find them in the mountains, but I assure you, they are true artists here. Highly recommended, without a doubt.

26/08/2025: Refined atmosphere, very courteous and helpful staff, fantastic view from the terrace, we had fresh tagliolini pasta with squid ink and tuna tartar, we were speechless by the deliciousness, desserts to die for, we will return as soon as possible.

21/09/2025: Clothes don't make the man! We booked a random place for lunch during a motorcycle tour! The trattoria is dated, but well-kept and CLEAN! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is fantastic, and the porchetta that Mr. Vinicio decided to bring as an appetizer, paired with a nice house Barbera, is equally as good. And don't forget the homemade crostata... A family-friendly atmosphere at a fair price! Highly recommended!

19/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant in June with my brothers and... what can I say? We had a fantastic time. The lunch was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. The owners are truly special people.

06/10/2025: A very charming, traditional osteria in the heart of Verbania (Pallanza). The food is truly excellent, with generous portions and good value. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want to try traditional cuisine and more, come here! Highly recommended ❤️

04/10/2025: A great place for local cuisine! Welcome speaks Italian, English, and French. The menu offers good quality traditional dishes. Prices are reasonable (€55 for two). We didn't take advantage of the terrace, which looks very pleasant in the summer.

09/10/2025: HAPPY with reservations. A big thank you and a hug for the professionalism and kindness of the Asian woman (whose name, unfortunately, I don't remember, I think it was Aia). This woman was very, very professional, very polite, and always present. The dishes were very well prepared and tasty. The downside was a very rude Albanian man (I didn't understand his role). He treated us very rudely, almost like a brawl at the end of the evening. Reason? He had to catch the ferry, so get up and leave.

09/10/2025: Large room, large bathroom, and large balcony. Clean. Good breakfast buffet. A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate. Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking. No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

25/09/2025: A wonderful little hotel with very friendly staff who are happy to answer any questions. The hotel is located about 15 meters from Lake Maggiore. From the balcony, you have a wonderful view of the water. The breakfast buffet is fantastic! Everything you can imagine! One special mention should be that the boss bakes everything herself; it's simply amazing. We'll definitely be back.

25/06/2025: We didn't eat here, but we were able to leave our bags here whilst we explored Stresa and Isola Bella, which was really useful. It was €3 a bag, and they were locked in their store room.

01/10/2025: Amazing set lunch menu! Delicious: sliced ​​beef + 2 side dishes + mushroom pasta + 1/4 bottle of wine for €13. Really cheap for a sliced ​​beef! Excellent food. Plenty of parking, the only downside is the bathrooms, which are outside the restaurant and cold. Not suitable for formal settings, but only for easygoing people.
