The “great view” mentioned in other comments actually has another large house in view, which is really no reason to stop there. The pizza is average at best, you won't find a fluffy edge. What's really subterranean is the way you deal with children. The very quiet and friendly children at the next table stood up once and were immediately reprimanded harshly and unfriendly. Overall, it seems to me the boss? (Old woman with gray bob) has little joy in life. With two stars, the store is rated more than well enough. I haven't even taken any photos yet.

02/07/2024: Cucina eccellente: I miglio funghi che abbia mai mangiato ! Ma che rumore !! Gente che urla in modo inaccettabile. Peccato perché ho sempre trovato ottima cucina con buon rapporto qualità prezzo ma che stress avere a fianco sudamericani urlanti privi di qualsiasi educazione.

We used to come on holiday and specifically stay nearby and even after years and the coronavirus, the quality of the food and service remains top notch! 14/08/2024: Hidden in a typical Italian alley we came across this restaurant. Very tasty food. Behind the restaurant there is also a small courtyard for a real Italian feeling. Service was fine, some were friendly, but the host was perhaps not having a good day. But that didn't spoil the fun. Delicious pasta and tasty pizzas! Recommended. We were there with 2 small children, who could play around the table.

18/02/2024: Rinnovato nel suo look da poco, ti accoglie con il suo calore e ti sorprende per la sua simpatia ( qualità rara in montagna) . Il miglior posto dove trascorrere qualche ora la sera all' insegna del buon umore e del buon champagne ( merce altresi rara a Macugnaga) dove la differenza è data soprattutto dal savoir faire del personale che ti accoglie con le stesse attenzioni che di solito si riservano ad un amico di vecchia data....Jager "Uber alles"

12/02/2024: The new renovation is fantastic and has a romantic feel. The aperitifs were one of the best in the area. We wished we would have had the chance to go more. The service on entry was good but could of been a little more attentive after that. Superb bar!!

30/08/2024: Top food, top service, simple but cozy atmosphere, definitely reserve a table!!!!! Always worth a visit

21/07/2024: Tolle Pizza aus eigenem Steinofen. Diese in zweit Kategorien eingeteilt - die Version von 8€ bis 12€ und die Speziellen von 13€ bis 18€ Geschmacklich top und sehr gut gebacken wird einem eine tolle Pizza serviert. Auch die Spaghetti Carbonara waren typisch Italienisch hergerichtet und kamen nicht in einer Sahnesoße. Die Bedienungen super nett und freundlich gestimmt. Auch der Wirt sehr nett und bot noch einen Absacker zum Ende. Ganz klare Empfehlung zur Zeit in Cannobio 😊
