We came to celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. The place was very welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food good. I recommend it. Thank you so much for a beautiful, festive day, and Meno for the Meno weather. My mother-in-law thanks you.

Excellent restaurant and location. Dining outside is a plus, with a picture-perfect view of Lake Maggiore and Mottarone. The road isn't busy at all, so it's not a problem. Fast and polite service with dynamic staff. Generous, high-quality dishes. The Castelmagno risotto, meat skewer, fajtas, and tagliatelle with sausage ragù are recommended and definitely worth a try. The desserts are well-balanced. Recommended!!!

The staff is quick and friendly, and the food is always excellent and plentiful. We had a mixed fried fish dinner (calamari and shrimp), which was very good. Highly recommended.

Hostaria Dam a Traa's main selling point is its fantastic location right on the lake. The view is beautiful and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The portions are generous and the food tastes good. However, we didn't experience that special "wow" feeling that you sometimes get in a truly outstanding Italian restaurant. Overall, it's a good restaurant with a beautiful view and solid cuisine, definitely worth a visit.

A very good restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The special risotto and the huge steaks are highly recommended. I'd gladly return.

Big Portions, but mid food tbh (no depth of flavor). Grizzley was a very bad servant, he had us waiting, not telling us, that we must pay inside. Also the restaurant opens at 7pm instead of 6pm, as listed on Google

Eurossola S.R.L Hotel - Ristorante

02/06/2026: We were in Domodossola for a one night stay before a connecting train and chose Eurossola as my husband has a severe pet allergy and they don’t accept dogs. Wow! What a beauty of a hotel! The staff were super friendly (especially with our practically none existent Italian), the decor of the hotel was absolutely fabulous and completely unique, the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and we had a lovely breakfast sat outside in the sunshine. The hotel is literally opposite the station and we enjoyed a walk exploring Domodossola. Thank you all for such a short but great stay! Would highly recommend! Oh and I should say that the glass of Prosecco I had was divine! 🥂
27/05/2026: We returned to Rome today after spending two nights at this delightful hotel. We had two rooms on the third floor. Book here with confidence, you won't go wrong! Excellent location for those who, like us, want to take the Centovalli train to Locarno. We had a wonderful time, thank you for everything!

Trattoria Pizzeria della Volpe

12/05/2026: We had an exquisite meal at La Volpe. As a discerning diner and connoisseur, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We were warmly welcomed in an interior that exudes a warm allure. The staff had a genuine smile for everyone all evening and were constantly very attentive. The appetizers melted in our mouths with freshness. The fried and grilled fish and shellfish had a good bite and full flavor. The wine was not the most expensive on the menu, but of equally good quality. A delightful evening. We were spoiled and felt very special as guests. The restaurant surprised us greatly.
